However, the actress knows how to get back in shape, and that is by consistently working it out at the gym!
Kaley Cuoco Works It Out At The Gym To Achieve The Perfect Body
The “Flight Attendant” star isn’t cutting down on her dedication to maintaining a perfect body. A look at her recent Instagram stories showed her focused as she performed an intense workout routine. The clip was uploaded by her gym instructor Ryan Sorensen, which Cuoco reposted on her Instagram stories.
For the workout session, the new mom kept her outfit comfy and wore a loose tank top paired with black leggings and white sneakers. Opting not to let anything distract her, Cuoco left her hair in a loose bun. She began her routine with some cardio on the treadmill.
Afterward, the 37-year-old directed her focus on her arms as she pulled on strings that were attached to a machine. Cuoco did more exercises with other gym equipment, including dumbbells and a large ball.
Undoubtedly, Cuoco’s time at the gym is paying off, and she misses no opportunity to flaunt her impressive body. A few weeks ago, she displayed her toned midriff section and curves during a Pilates session. The image the “Charmed” actress posted showed her wearing a black two-piece gym wear, consisting of a crop top and leggings. As expected, the length of the top exposed the actress’ midsection, letting fans see how trimmed it has become.
For the shot, Cuoco posed kneeling on one of the gym equipment and placed a hand on her head. Naturally, the pose gave a view of the mom of one’s curvy hips. Cuoco captioned the post, “I got the Pilates bug again…. HARD CO.”
Following this snap, “The Big Bang Theory” actress uploaded a monochrome selfie, showing off her biceps and her back view. Additionally, the photo showed her sweaty face. She captioned the post, writing, “STRONG.”
The ‘Flight Attendant’ Actress Dealt With Mom Wrists
Although the “8 Simple Rules” actress spends time in the gym to get her pre-pregnancy body back, there are other mom problems the gym can’t solve. A few days ago, Cuoco updated that she was dealing with Mommy's wrists. She uploaded pictures of her hands on her Instagram stories, showing that they weren’t in the best condition.
The image captured the movie star’s hand swollen in a compression brace, with her nails sporting a deep shade of red. In the post's caption, the blond beauty relayed her shock at the diagnosis. “They call it ‘mommy’s wrist,'” Cuoco wrote, before expressing her shock, “Are you kidding me?”
The following photo the doting mom uploaded showed her severe it was, as it affected both of her hands. In the shot, Cuoco raised her hands, both wrapped in splints. “Did I mention it’s both hands?” she captioned the photo adding an “Ouch” sticker.
Sure enough, the situation left the actress devastated, as in another snap on her stories, she looked moody. She captioned, “Just me sulking feeling sorry for myself lol.”
Mommy’s wrists, also known as Mommy’s thumb, mainly affect pregnant women or nursing mothers’ wrists. Per the American Society for Surgery For the Hand, the situation is scientifically called “de Quervain’s tenosynovitis or tendonitis,” one of the symptoms is discomfort in the thumb, which increases whenever the thumb is in use.
While the cause of the ailment is unknown, it arises from “irritation of the tendons that extend the thumb in their surrounding sheath at the wrist,” some patients may notice a cyst, bump, or swelling in the affected area.
The condition can be diagnosed by physical examination, X-rays, or Finkelstein’s test. Finkelstein’s test, which has been said to be painful, is carried out by placing the patient’s thumb in their palm and a patient and wrapping their fingers around the thumb. Afterward, the patient moves their wrist towards their small finger, reproducing their pain.
For treating the condition, dire methods, such as surgery, are not required to treat the condition as patients heal with time. However, several non-surgical treatment options include wearing a splint, resting the hand, using anti-inflammatory medications, hand therapy, adjusting how the affected hand is used, and utilizing Corticosteroid injections.
