Why Erika Jayne Decided To Meet With Ex Tom Girardi's Alleged Fraud Victims

Jayne, the reality TV star and former wife of disgraced lawyer Girardi, recently met with victims who were allegedly cheated out of settlement money by her estranged husband.

The meeting took place at the Valley Inn Restaurant in Los Angeles during a Paul's Ice Cream event. Jayne, who donned a pink floral blouse and black trousers, spoke with Girardi's acquaintances and alleged victims for about an hour.

"I came here with an open heart to listen to what's going on," Jayne told Page Six. "I want to hear what happened and figure out how to be a part of how to move forward together in a way that's beneficial for all victims."

Jayne has been accused of knowing about her ex-husband's alleged embezzlement scheme, but she has denied any wrongdoing. She has since filed for divorce from Girardi and is facing several lawsuits, including a $50 million racketeering lawsuit and a $2.1 million "aiding and abetting" lawsuit, per Page Six.

Kimberly Archie, a former employee at Girardi's now-defunct law firm, Girardi Keese, has commended Jayne for visiting the victims of her estranged husband's alleged embezzlement scheme.

"I think that it's even difficult for some attorneys and people who prosecute this kind of case to understand it. So I think it would be irrational to think Erika knew," Archie told Page Six.

She continued, "I never thought she stole the money or anything like that. My only thing was really just how it came across to the victims, and now this erases any of that obviously because she's making a concerted effort to make the victims feel better."

Jayne's meeting with the victims is a significant step forward in the fight for justice for the victims of Girardi's alleged embezzlement scheme.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star has recently come forward to dispel rumors surrounding her close friends, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky. In the wake of a challenging year for their relationship, Jayne firmly stated that the couple is not splitting and that they remain united despite the difficulties they have faced.

In a recent statement with Billboard, Jayne refuted the claim that Richards and Umansky were divorcing and reassured fans and followers that their relationship is intact. She emphasized that, despite enduring a "very hard" year, the couple's bond has remained unbroken, demonstrating their resilience and commitment to one another.

"I'm going to let Kyle really explain, but they're not splitting," Jayne said. "They have had a very hard time. They've acknowledged that."

"I remember when I was going through my divorce/disaster scandal, there were a lot of people speaking that really didn't know what I was going through," she added. "She'll be able to explain herself, and that's where I'd like to leave that."

According to Page Six, Jayne made candid comments about her past sexual partners during an Instagram Q&A session with fans, stating that she is "too old to remember" all of them and has "quit counting."

In the session, when asked about the number of her sexual partners, the singer-songwriter responded with a humorous yet frank reply.

"I'm too old to remember all of them," she stated with a laugh. "I quit counting years ago. It's good enough to be experienced but, you know, low miles."
