The "Bachelor In Paradise" star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself looking like a real-life Barbie doll. Her caption, however, is what grabbed fans' attention as she opened up about not being invited to the "Barbie" movie premiere while many other members of Bachelor Nation, such as JoJo Fletcher, Charity Lawson, and Susie Evans, did attend.

"This Barbie would love to be invited to the premiere ??✨," she wrote in the caption. "Even if I say no 7 out of 10 times, I’m really enjoying those 3 times I say yes. I feel like part of a community when I am invited. When I see all of my friends at an event and I didn’t get an invite, I feel like I’m no longer a part of that community."

She continued, "I know how silly it looks to complain on Instagram about not being invited to an event; but there’s more to this. I know I’m not alone in this feeling and I want to talk about how to help our fellow humans not feel this way. It’s just little things like inviting me that would help me feel safer. And I’m sure other people can relate ? moral of my complaint: invite people even if you THINK they won’t want to go. And if you hate me just say that."

Many were quick to support Burnett, saying they understand where she was coming from. "this Barbie will always invite our Demi Barbie to any event we ever do ????️," one fan wrote as another chimed in, "U are iconic don’t let this hurt you I’ve watched so many seasons and there’s no one like DEMI?."

Another commented, "Honestly feel this way SO OFTEN as a disabled person. Even the friends who ‘should know better’ grow tired of inviting you when you can’t show up and stop before you can."

While one of her fans expressed, "I understand and completely feel that way about myself too, but I have just noticed that people who say no don't get invited. And I've also been on the other side. When I have parties, if I keep inviting someone and they keep saying no, eventually I just stop. I feel like a burden to them and like they don't prioritize me or they don't enjoy events. Keep in mind that it may seem like you don't want to go so they don't want to bother you."

One of her fans commented, "It’s wild I read this today because literally this morning I was wondering what it’s like to be part of “Bachelor Nation” and if they invite everybody to everything or if some people get left out and how horrible that would feel."

The same fan then added, "You deserve to go and be a part of it. If you were a friend of mine and I got invited and you didn’t, I’d either make sure you got an invite or I would stay back with you. I wish we all treated each other better. I would have loved to see you at that event! You look just like a Barbie, it would have been perfect. ?♥️."
