Mod Sun is back in the game and moving on is what it is called!

After months of seeing his ex-fiancée, Avril Lavigne, love it up with Tyga in public, including a hot and heavy kissing session during the Paris Fashion Week, Sun has apparently entered into a romance of his own. The rapper was spotted sharing a hot smooch with a famous model, whom he has reportedly been spending loads of time with over the last few days.

Mod Sun Enjoyed The Weekend With Sahara Ray By His Side

If pictures are to be believed, Sun is making the best out of his recent single status as he was seen kissing well-known model Sahara Ray five months after his engagement ended. Ray had shared a since-expired image of herself and the 36-year-old to her Instagram Story locking lips while laying in a bed covered with white sheets.

The cozy atmosphere the twosome exhibited made it somewhat clear that it would not be their first time together. In fact, Ray had uploaded a clip that showcased her sunbathing on Sun's back patio while he got some painting done over the weekend.

They took a break from their personal time together to enjoy a dinner with a group of friends, which gave the OnlyFans model an opportunity to capture a view of her date beaming next to her at their table.

Later on, Page Six obtained separate exclusive photos showing the "Rich Kids Ruin Everything" hitmaker driving the 30-year-old and a mutual friend down the Sunset Strip in California on Saturday night. Ray made light of the moment, grinning at the paparazzi as they rode in Sun's car into the night.

Despite the public sightings and social media PDA, a source informed the outlet that there was nothing between the "Flames" rapper and the Australian surfer, Tony Ray’s daughter, maintaining that the kiss was just that — a kiss. "Mod is enjoying being single for the first time in years and having fun. He's not in a relationship with anyone," the insider claimed.

Just before the former drummer's blossoming flirtation began, reports of his ex-fiancée and Tyga breaking up had flooded the internet. As reported by The Blast, Lavigne and the "Ayy Macarena" artist had amicably parted ways after a three-and-a-half-month romance, which first sparked speculations in February.

With no feelings of animosity between them, the former couple opted to remain friends and have been seen hanging out with each other after their split. The "Sk8er Boi" vocalist has also reportedly kept the $80K diamond Cuban link necklace Tyga gifted her during their short-lived affair.

She drew attention to it — and their relationship— by wearing it throughout the European leg of her Love Sux world tour.

As for her and Sun's previous companionship, the latter seemed to address it in his first musical project since his February 2023-released studio album, "God Save the Teen." In the song titled "Strangers," he opened up about coming to terms with him and his former flame becoming strangers again after building themselves up from there to become lovers.

He had first hinted at the advent of the single in an Instagram video where he lip-synced to the lyrics while walking on the streets of Paris, where he proposed to Lavigne in April 2022.

"I remember loving you before we ever met / Saw you on a TV, then I met you through a friend/ Then I started talking to you on the internet / Went from strangers to lovers to strangers again," the "So Long Los Angeles" author belted out as the words flashed across the screen. For the caption, the rocker told his 723k followers, "From strangers to lovers to strangers again…20k+ pre-saves + I'll release it."

Fans, who immediately loved what they heard took to the comment section to express themselves, with one stating, "I've been an [Avril Lavigne] fan since 2002, but I think she made a big mistake this time… You loved her." A second fan exclaimed, Let's GO!!! Been waiting for this one," and a third gushed, "I'm excited! I love how it sounds, but I'm sorry about your heartbreak."

Although Sun is yet to confirm if the song is truly about Lavigne as fans suspect, he did reference their 2021 collaborative track, "Flames," vocalizing:

"Just a couple weeks and I'm already moving in / Lying to each other while we're lying in your bed / Guess it really did go up in flames in the end."
