It appears that Morant is pretty psyched over the recent addition of Derrick Rose to the Grizzlies. A tweet about the new season by veteran player Isaiah Thomas caught Morant's attention.

"Watch what type of season Ja has next year with D rose connected to his hip all year long," Thomas tweeted on Wednesday. "Once he gets off suspension he will have his best season yet. That D Rose presence going to have him on some MVP s***...Watch!"

Morant caught wind of the tweet and retweeted it with his own thoughts.

"you too loud OG. They gon feel me fasho," he tweeted.

The tweet has since received more than 1.4 million views, 9,000 likes and 1,000 retweets.

The Grizzlies star hasn't been seen on social media since he was suspended for waving a gun during an Instagram Live in June, the second Instagram Live of its kind for the NBA star, who was also suspended earlier in the year for the same thing.

After the second IG Live incident and before his 25-game suspension was announced, Morant issued a statement apologizing and taking accountability for his actions.

"I’ve had time to reflect and realize how much hurt I’ve caused. I want to apologize to the NBA, the Grizzlies, my teammates, and the city of Memphis. To Adam Silver, Zach Kleiman, and Robert Pera – who allowed me to be a professional athlete and have supported me – I’m sorry for the harm I’ve done," his statement began.

"To the kids who look up to me, I’m sorry for failing you as a role model. I promise I’m going to be a better representation of our brands. And to all of my fans, I promise I will make it up to you. I’m spending the offseason and suspension continuing to work on my mental health and decision-making. I will also be training to be ready to go when I can return to the court. I know my teammates will hold it down, and I’m so sorry I won’t be out there with you at the beginning of the season. I hope you’ll allow me to prove to you over time that I’m a better man than what I’ve been showing you."

Since making that public statement, Morant has been laying low, not posting on social media. But now that he's tweeted about his excitement for the new season, maybe we'll see more from him as he moves through the offseason in preparation for what Thomas called, "his best season yet."
