June has been a busy month for the 20-year-old singer and actress. The "Driver's License" singer began teasing her Instagram followers earlier this month with mysterious posts implying a new era of her career may be on the horizon!

Social media easter eggs and countdowns on Rodrigo's official website revealed two monumental events: her first LP since 2021's "Sour," and it's first single!

Rodrigo's Instagram has been a busy stop for her fans lately!

Since she began sharing photos that were suspected of containing clues related to her second album at the end of last month, Rodrigo's feed became a regular destination for the "good four u" singer to sprinkle tidbits related to 'OR2' which was eventually revealed to be called "Guts."

In a photo posted four days ago, Rodrigo wrote, "My sophomore album GUTS comes out September 8th. I am so proud of this record and can't wait to share it with you all! you can pre-save it now! xoxoxoxo❤️???" The news was met with excitement from lives, including influencer sisters Brooklyn and Bailey and Bachelor Nation's Connor Brennan! (per The Blast)

Since announcing the sneak peek for the "Vampire" music video, Rodrigo released the full video, announcing it was directed by artist and Rookie alumna Petra Collins.

Rodrigo topped off her week of big announcements with an Instagram carousel commemorating the release of "Vampire."

Rodrigo wrote, "Vampire song and video out now??. I made it with my talented, wonderful friend @dan_nigro last winter and created the video with the incredible @petrafcollins. Writing this song helped me sort through regret, anger, and heartache. It's one of my favorite songs on the album, and it felt cathartic to finish. I'm so happy it's in your hands now, and I hope it helps you deal with any bloodsuckers in your life. All my thanks 4ever ❤️" in the carousel's caption.
