Sharna Burgess Celebrates Her Son's First Birthday In 'Super Emotional' Videos

Burgess dropped a series of videos on her Instagram Story in honor of her baby boy's milestone, which they commemorated as a family with Austin Green. In the first video, she filmed herself carrying Zane, who was too cute for words. "Hey, Zane," the mother-of-one said. "Whose birthday is it today? Whose birthday is it today? Is it yours?"

The birthday boy responded by clapping before his mom repeated, "Is it your birthday today? Are you one year old?"   She then told him to "say me me me" before adding, "I can't believe you're one." The day was evidently a "very emotional" one for Burgess, and she admitted so across the post.

In a second video, made after the celebration, she was short of words to describe how she felt about the milestone but called the day "awesome" and "amazing."  The reputable dancer added, "Again, we didn't do cake because we're saving like real; the big birthday party is all happening on the 4th; that's when it's all planned for."

She was pretty much in her feelings as she gave a rundown of the special treatment Zane got on his day. In her words:

"Today was super emotional; I can't believe he's one. We did a really special bath time with new toys and like the shower head thing with the little dino shower head and the dino bubble head maker."

The Australian entertainer then admitted to being emotional once more after noting that Zane was a big boy with six teeth, sitting in a regular bath. Her final video was a revelation to her numerous followers about something thoughtful she did to ensure that Zane never forgot the memories they shared.

"Something that I did today was I started [an] email account for Zane," she shared. "And I send him videos, and so I sent him the first one today." Included in the clips were Burgess's "favorite memories," such as her first year with her son and "a little bit about how he came into the world" for when he grows older.

She explained more about why she made such a decision: "It's wild. Some of my most treasured memories [Zane] won't remember, and I wanted to share some of them with him." And just tell him how loved he is and how wanted and special he is, and I'm also going to send a little compilation of that day, him swimming with the kids and bath time and all that."

The ballroom dancer appears to have been emotional even before Zane's first birthday, as she previously covered so in an Instagram post, counting down until he clocked one. At the time, the tot was 11 months, and she wrote, "I get emotional knowing you're about to be a year old. My beautiful boy is filled with wonder and curiosity."

She further mentioned that as Zane grew, he demanded independence but loved sharing with others. Burgess felt lucky to witness his development but wished he could "slow down a little.  In conclusion, she called his giggle fits her favorite before penning, "Daddy and the kids will be here soon, and we are counting down the days."
