Lourdes Leon Rushes To Mom Madonna's Hospital Bedside As She Battles Mystery Infection

Madonna was rushed to a hospital this weekendafter a “serious bacterial infection” left her unresponsive and in the ICU.

The 64-year-old is set to go on tour in less then 3 weeks and she is currently laid up in a hospital. The singer's manager Guy O'Seary confirmed the news in an Instagram post. He highlighted that she is still “under medical care”

The international star’s eldest daughter Lourdes has not left her mom’s bedside. As per O’Seary’s post, Madonna is expected ot make a full recovery buy just needs time to do so.

He wrote. “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving; however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”

His update continued. “At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

Thankfully, the “Ray of Light” singer os now home according to a source for DailyMail. “She is out of the ICU and recovering.” Madoinna’s tour titled “Madonna: The Celebration Tour”, was set to run from July 15, 2023, to January 30, 2024.

It is her 12th tour and it will send the singer around North America and Europe with 84 shows. Madonna is quite active on social media, her last post was on June 23 of her getting concert ready with a root touch up.

Madonna hasn’t been on a stage of this caliber since 2015 when she performed at the O2 Arena in London. Thankfully, the pop singer has been getting a lot of good energy sent her way while she recovers.

The singer is way too loved to let news like this go unnoticed. O’Seary’s comments have been busy since he shared the news. “Omg sending her love and healing light! ?,” wrote Frankie Grande.

Actress Zooey Deschanel sent love as well. “Hope she feels better very soon!” Holly Robinson Peete shared some prayer hands, “??????????,” she is a known prayer warrior you want her on your side!

Even Madonna’s fans stopped by to send love and light to their “queen” and hoped that the tour would go on as planned. “Hoping our queen gets the rest she needs! Send her all our love ❤️.”

“Wishing Madonna speedy recovery. Love from Denmark.” Another fan wrote, “Take all the time you need, @madonna. We love you! ?? ❤️.”

Leading up to her highly anticipated tour, the singer has been practicing and spending a lot of time in the dance studio to make the show perfect for her fans. Is this part of what led the singer to this unexpected hospital stay?

She often shares behind-the-scenes videos of herself and her dancers letting loose after a rehearsal and for someone that is 64, she is putting some of these youngins to shame. Hopefully, her body is just forcing her to rest and she will be back on top of her game in no time!
