The event took place on Monday morning and will again on Tuesday in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall. Visitors will be guided through some vacation destinations via 360-digital media displays.

After Monday's event, Tisdale had some time to speak with The Blast about how she takes time to unwind and share some travel tips and ideas.

"I teamed up with Chase IHG One Rewards credit cards because I really love, obviously, the idea of slowing down. It's something that I like to do in my everyday life. Whether it's taking tiny moments to just kind of have a me moment or if I'm vacationing, which is my favorite thing to do with my family is travel and really slow down from our busy life," she told The Blast exclusively.

"And so, this pop-up is just really for you to experience, in this Grand Central Terminal, which is like the busiest place to be, so you go to this pop-up and see some of the IHG destinations and hotels, and really kind of the visual of it, it really does, I feel, bring the nervous system down, so I'm excited to be here."

Talking about busy lives and the need to take some time to slow down occasionally, Tisdale said you just have to "take that moment for yourself."

"Some of the things that I do is I really set myself up in a good way by meditation in the morning, whether it's just like a two minute or a five minute, it really helps me throughout that day," she explained.

"I also learned something from my therapist recently that was like taking sips throughout your day of those moments. We obviously drink water and we need that and so it's the same thing for our nervous system."

Another thing that helps Tisdale to slow down is to disconnect from her phone whenever possible.

"I obviously am on social media and the phone can be addicting and I think as a mom, I don't want my daughter to see me on the phone all the time, so I really disconnect on the weekends or whenever I feel it's possible during the week," she told The Blast.

"I think those are the times and smaller moments, but I think traveling is a really important one. I actually have my Chase IHG Rewards Premier credit card so I earn points and it's getting me closer to my next vacation."

Tisdale, mom to 2-year-old Jupiter, has a great tip to share for anyone who travels with a child to make it a little easier.

"When you're traveling with a child, something that I think has been really helpful is she has this little baby shark backpack and we call it her magic backpack," she shared. "When she travels and we're on a plane, we put little things in there she hasn't seen before like little trinkets and little toys. It's just really cute. My husband picks out all the stuff."

Her daughter loves to go through the backpack, and it keeps her occupied for a good amount of time while on the plane.

When asked where she would love to visit, she talked about two of the places featured in "The Slowdown," Paris and Bali.

"IHG has like 18 brand hotels in 6,000 destinations so you really can't go wrong," she said. "I just feel like just make that trip, make that movement and just do it. It's important."

Anuja Stites, Vice President of Loyalty & Commercial Partnerships, IHG Hotels & Resorts, agrees that it's important to "prioritize your health and wellness."
