Kendra Wilkinson is finally ready to share the aftermath of her separation from Hank Baskett. Five years after the couple's divorce, the former Playboy Mansion resident revealed the split triggered her "depression."

The blonde beauty rose to fame as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends. Although she was not the late magazine founder's Playboy Playmate, her association with the deceased earned her a role in the reality TV series "The Girls Next Door."

However, the San Diego native left the bunny life after meeting the former NFL star. The pair tied the knot in 2009, welcoming two children before splitting in 2018. Reflecting on the end of her longtime relationship, the 38-year-old confessed it took a significant toll on her mental health.

Kendra Wilkinson Reveals She Was 'So Lost" After Separating From Hank Baskett

In the latest episode of PodcastOne's "On Display with Melissa Gorga," the TV personality addressed her divorce in an emotional interview. According to the mother of two, her separation from Baskett occurred at the end of her collaboration with E! Network.

Losing her longtime partner and the sudden conclusion of her "Kendra on Top" reality TV series was a weight the entertainer could not bear. Wilkinson confessed these events triggered her "depression" and need for deep healing.

"I went through a divorce and lost everything I knew, which was my TV show. I had a TV show every year until my divorce," the blonde beauty lamented, noting that the unexpected developments blindsided her.

"Then my divorce happened, and all of a sudden, now I'm left with no marriage, I'm left with no show, I had to move into a little house," the 38-year-old recalled adding, "I didn't understand what was going on, and all of a sudden, I had to do some intense healing."

As mentioned above, the San Diego native and the former Minnesota Vikings player ended their marriage in 2018, with their divorce finalization occurring a year later. At the height of their romance, the then-couple was featured on WE TV's "Kendra on Top" series from 2012 to 2017.

However, the program's end resulted in a four-year period where the model no longer recognized who she was without the spotlight. "For years, I didn't have fame. I didn't have everything I knew for a long time. I didn't know who I was. I was so lost," Wilkinson confessed.

After thriving as a reality TV star for years, the blonde beauty noted that losing her show made it "impossible to be happy at that point." When all seemed bleak, and the entertainer did not know how to pull herself from the ashes of her career, she found renewed hope in her children.

"I didn't even know how to be happy. My kids were what gave me purpose," the media personality declared, crediting her son Hank IV and daughter Alijah Mary as the ones who kept her heart beating.

A month before revealing the emotional outcome of her divorce from Baskett, the "Dancing with the Stars" participant praised her ex-lover as a fantastic father. Gushing about their amicable co-parenting relationship, the San Diego native declared her undying adoration for the former athlete.

"I'll forever love my ex-husband. He's the greatest father to my kids, and that's all I ask for," the mother of two claimed, noting that all that mattered was the connection the duo presently shared.

"That itself is so good. It's good enough. If later down the line things happen, then they happen. I will always love him, and I loved him once. Love doesn't just go away," Wilkinson continued, seemingly hinting that Baskett would forever have a soft spot in her heart despite their differences.
