At the same time, a sixth netizen appreciated Grant for his "unlimited support" of his daughter, and a seventh thanked him for blessing the world with Del Rey. The Prescott College alum had received a similar reaction when he told the world he was following in his daughter's singing footsteps professionally.

Per The Blast, his debut album, "Lost at Sea," was released on June 9, 2023, with the title and mood being influenced by the boat builder's love for the ocean. Although the 14-track project predominantly features instrumental compositions, Grant ensured he snuck in a few collaborations with his talented daughter.

The album has since received positive reviews from listeners, with one fan claiming it "sounds as if the ocean could speak or perform a melody."

The Blast reported that Del Rey wrapped up the month of May by returning to the stage after a four-year hiatus in style. The "Say Yes To Heaven" hitmaker had turned up as one of the headliners of the recently held Mita Festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, channeling the legendary actress Marilyn Monroe.

She paired a black quarter-sleeved top with a matching skirt, a belt with a golden metallic fastener, and gold ankle-strapped heels. The "Happiness is a Butterfly" songster finished her look with a platinum blonde hairdo reminiscent of the type that the late screen goddess used to wear.

Del Rey, who performed alongside established artists like Haim, Florence and The Machine, and Sabrina Carpenter, belted out songs from her recently released album, "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd."

During her time away from the stage, the NME Award winner was a frequent face of late-night talk shows and even bagged the Visionary Award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music event. While accepting the honor, the Grammy Awards nominee said:

"I don't exactly have a long-term vision at all, but if you were curious, I am very, very happy. When I released my first album 14 years ago, the waters were not quite as warm. I'm really happy for everyone who feels like it's a wonderful time in the culture to be themselves and express themselves. It didn't feel that way in 2008."
