Here's How Chris Hemsworth Feels About Daughter's Early Acting Career

Chris Hemsworth is all about his children having a normal childhood!
The actor had a lifetime chance when his eldest daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, costarred in his most recent Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), "Thor: Love and Thunder." She had stolen hearts playing the role of Villain Gorr, the God Butcher's daughter, and earned even more respect from her loved ones. Despite that, Chris has disclosed that he is in no rush to get her on another major Hollywood project.

Chris Hemsworth Has No Immediate Plans To Get India Rose Hemsworth On The Big Screen Again
Although "Thor: Love and Thunder" was quite the family affair, with Chris' twin kids also having cameos in it, the hunk could not help but gush about India's talent when he walked the red carpet at Netflix's "Tudum: A Global Fan Event," held in São Paulo, Brazil, recently. During a media chat with ET, he opened up about the role the 11-year-old played in the film, stating:
"You know, that was originally supposed to be just a super quick little moment in the film, and then the character expanded due to the story changing."
The actor revealed that his daughter had jumped at the opportunity "to do some dialog in the film" and had loved it. He then divulged that he does not want her to appear in other big projects because he wants her "to have a childhood."
Nevertheless, the doting dad was open to letting her follow the acting path "if she's keen to do more things" at an older age. In the words of the "12 Strong" star:
"I said, 'There's plenty of time, sweety. Go to school, horse ride, have fun, be a kid. Because once the train moves, it's pretty hard to get off, and you miss a lot of things."
The decision to allow his daughter to enjoy her childhood seems easy compared to his having to attain the weight goal for his Thor character in the film's fourth installment.
As reported by The Blast, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" actor's muscle memory, which previously helped him in losing or gaining weight to fit whatever character he was playing, was nowhere to be found when it came to him getting bulky for "Thor: Love and Thunder."
Chris explained in September 2022 that the process was "particularly hard" because he had to gain more weight than he ever needed to in the past. He also disclosed that he had no interest in getting "that big again." When asked why, the father-of-three expressed:
"It was just exhausting. I don't know, maybe I'm getting old, but things just started to hurt more."
The 'Men in Black' Lead Entertained Is A Family Man
The Blast reported last December that Chris relished some quality time with his family — his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three children — during a fun dinner date. The "Star Trek" actor even showed off highlights from the moment with his 57 million Instagram followers, starting with a clip of a chef dancing while wearing a pair of colorful, lit-up glasses.
Upon seeing the chef's dance moves, the Kids' Choice Award winner asked, "He's not really gonna cook that food, is he?" before briefly losing his smile. His smile returned when he noticed a second similarly dressed chef rolling out a trolley filled with ingredients, and he excitedly declared, "Yes, he is."
The actor got his shot at showcasing his hidden talent of catching food with his mouth as the chef threw food at him from a distance. After the third successful catch, Chris got up, blew some kisses, and took a bow to the delight of his loved ones.
That temporary show of pride resulted in the 2015 G'Day USA Excellence in Film Award recipient missing the next chunk of food the chef threw at him. Luckily, the miss did nothing to dampen the "Home and Away" alum's spirit as he was seen dancing energetically with his family in the final footage from the dinner.
"Just a nice quiet dinner with the family..who would've thought a casual meal would've turned into a full-blown festival!" Chris captioned the heartwarming clips.
The post inspired the "Vacation" star's fans and fellow celebrities to take playful jabs at him. While photographer Chris Burkard commented, "The greatest performance yet," a fan claimed, "I see where your kids get their wild spirit from!!"
