Jordyn Woods Calls Her Late Dad 'My Twin' In Father's Day Tribute

Jordyn Woods honored her late father, John Woods, on Father's Day 2023.
The model observed the date with multiple vintage photographs of her dad on one of her social media pages, birthing an emotional aura for viewers. Jordyn has never missed an opportunity to laud her father following his death in 2017 after a battle with cancer and even appeared in rapper Rick Ross' "Big Tyme" video as a tribute to the sound engineer in July 2019.
Jordyn Woods' Feels 'Blessed' About Her Short-Lived Time With Her Late Dad
In the years since John's passing, Jordyn has marked his birthday and other events, no matter how little or hurtful they are to her. In her latest update, she dedicated multiple Instagram Stories in honor of Father's Day to the late "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" crew, starting with a throwback image of him sitting with his hands on his left knee.
Beside him was his adorable little daughter, who backed the camera while standing on a white surface. She donned a pink long-sleeved jacket over a shiny emerald blue dress with a slit, and John wore jean shorts and a two-in-one round-neck T-shirt. At the bottom of the snap, Jordyn wrote, "My twin. In this life and the next one 🤍."
The former best friend of Kylie Jenner revealed in a second story that she was "doing well all day" until she started looking at "photos on this flight." The update, which featured a candid image of John in a shirt and tie, also came with the admission that Jordyn missed her father "dearly every day."
A third Story from the model showcased a smiling John in hospital scrubs alongside the text, "There is no one like you 1/1," and a fourth highlighted the patriarch holding his daughter, as an infant, in his arms.
That photo, which the 25-year-old used to express how "blessed" she was for the Time she spent with her dad, was followed by a snap of the father-daughter duo playing on the ground. While the Los Angeles-born beauty beamed from ear to ear at her deceased father, the television sound engineer stared straight at the camera with a serious look.
These heart-wrenching posts have joined the series of others that Jordyn has used to show off the bond between her and John. In fact, in March, The Blast reported that the Woods By Jordyn founder celebrated his posthumous birthday with an image of a car window splattered by raindrops and trees in the background.
"Happy heavenly Birthday, Dad!!! Miss you every day!!!! 🕊️🤍," she penned across the image. Even though it is hard to tell the exact comments she received from fans in her direct messages, we can only speculate that they bombarded her with good wishes and empathetic thoughts.
The Clothing Mogul Marked Her Third Relationship Anniversary In Style
Despite her father's absence, Jordyn has learned to enjoy the finer things of life, especially with her man Karl Anthony Towns. The pair certainly had a swell time when they took a road trip for their third anniversary late last month.
As The Blast observed, the "Life of Kylie" alum stunned in an all-white outfit comprising a deconstructed skirt, a cropped tank top, and Steve Madden cowboy boots. For accessories, she opted for a catchy green Hermes bag, white Chanel sunglasses, bangles and bracelets, and a long pearl necklace with a cross.
The shots highlighted the lovebirds' gorgeous view from their room, Towns' behind the wheels of a Bentley, and various desert treats on a table. For her caption, the enamored Secndnture founder typed:
"took a day trip 🤍 can't believe we celebrated our three-year anniversary this weekend 🥲 where did the time go!?."
Responding to the "Sacrifice" actress' post, one fan commented, "Time flies when you are busy having fun. Happy anniversary to you both." A second fan commented, "3 years and a lifetime to go! So happy for you!" a third emphasized that Jordyn was "GLOWING."
A fourth person pointed out, "What you have makes you look so good 😍," while a netizen, with their eye on the price, stated, "This is a super cute outfit on you!
