Jordyn Woods Sweetly Remembers Dad On His Posthumous Birthday

Jordyn Woods remembered her late dad, John, on his posthumous birthday.

Since she lost her father in 2017, just two weeks after his cancer diagnosis, the model has publicly celebrated major milestones via her social media platforms. At the time of his death, Jordyn put out a statement appreciating fans' show of love to their family, with parts of the write-up claiming that "heaven got another angel."

Jordyn's life turned around when her beloved father died amid a battle with cancer in January 2017. Despite the pain that comes with it, the former Kardashian bestie has ensured that no year passes without her celebrating the television sound engineer's birthday posthumously.

For this year's occasion, the 25-year-old took to her Instagram Story to post a picture of a car window splattered by raindrops and trees in the background. She wrote, "Happy heavenly Birthday Dad!!! Miss you everyday!!" across the image.

Although it is hard to tell what supportive messages fans sent Jordyn after the Story went live, they had evidently rallied around her when she first shared news of her dad's cancer diagnosis on Instagram.

For the post, the "Life of Kylie" star uploaded a snap of her manicured hand holding John's bandaged own as he appeared in a hospital robe. After calling her late father her "twin Soul," the "Grown-ish" guest star told her followers:

"Last night I found out I'm not sure how much longer I am going to have with my father but I do know that with faith and God anything is possible. Don't forget to tell someone how much you love and care about them today."

Several fans took to the comment section to express their sadness at the news, with one stating, "I will pray for you and your family." Unfortunately, the actress later announced John's passing two weeks later with a selfie of the deceased wearing dark glasses. Jordyn penned beneath the shot: 

"Last night heaven Got Another angel. My Daddy. Just two short weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer and by that time it was too late. I appreciate everyone's kind words and it means the world to me. It still doesn't feel real. Forever and Always ?️❤️."

Her mother, Elizabeth, also put out a tribute to her late husband alongside a photo of the patriarch riding a bike away from the camera. The 52-year-old wrote:

"Tonight my best friend of so many years rode off into the sunset on a forever long Harley ride. Thank you for being a great husband, best friend and thank you for our fabulous kids and I'm so numb that I can't even believe this is real. RIP my angel John."

She concluded with the hashtags "teamigotthis," "family," "love," "mobbinforlife," and "f*ckcancer."

The Blast shed light on Jordyn's relationship with Towns after they went on a romantic date recently. The "Hip Hop Squares" star and her NBA beau looked picture-perfect as they leaned into each other for a pose while in a luxury vehicle.

The fitness enthusiast placed her hand on her man's chest, stunning in a mustard yellow dress and strappy gold sandals. As for Towns, he paired a black velvet jacket with a matching T-shirt and pants, accessorizing with a gold watch and a gold ring on his pinky. 

"date night ✨," Jordyn captioned the pic, which has received over 200k likes since it was posted on February 20. Along with those likes, fans trooped into the comments to praise the couple for looking good and finding love with each other.

One person claimed, "I need y'all to get married .. so cute," and another added, "I love the way he loves you and you love him." A third fan commented, "My favorite couple of all time.I love you Jordan. ?? I love seeing you and karl together."

A fourth fan was excited to see how beautiful Towns and Jordyn's kids would look, while a fifth wrote, "Living your best life! Best way to keep the negative toxic people out of your life. You look gorgeous."
