Simone Biles Gives Positive Update On Her & Husband Jonathan Owens' Forever Home

Newlyweds Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are a few steps away from living in their dream home! 

While the romantic duo tied the knot with a fairytale wedding at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, they are set for more fairytale experiences as their dream home is in the works. The pair acquired the property before their wedding in preparation for their blissful future together. 

A few months after the acquisition, the Olympic medalist gives a positive update on the property, showing their dreams are getting closer.

In her usual manner of keeping fans in the loop, the famed gymnast went on Instagram stories to share the progress on her home. Her footage showed the vast land undergoing construction, and significant changes were spotted. 

A part of the land was segmented and filled with concrete, forming a platform. Although it was blurry, some workers were spotted on the structure, helping to even out the mixture. Also spotted on the land were building materials, including stones and a truck with a crane attached. 

Captioning the video, the Olympic medalist announced what stage the home was in. She wrote, "Foundation has been poured," before tagging her husband in the post. 

The progress on the property is noticeable compared to when the duo just acquired it. When Biles announced they had gotten the property, she uploaded three pictures of herself and her hubby posing on the land. In one of the pictures, several trees were cleared, revealing an empty part of the serene area, which was still surrounded by tall trees. From that shot, it was clear that there was only a little development on the land. 

More details about the property were noticeable on closer inspection. A house could be seen on the other side of the water body. Another snap on the carousel displayed the excavated space of the property. The dug-up roots were noticeably piled up on one side while other trees stood tall.

Unsurprisingly, the twosome couldn't keep their hands off each other as they posed on their new property. In one of the images, the handsome football star cuddled his woman and sweetly kissed her earlobe. The post was captioned, "A home is made with love & dreams. Cheers to breaking ground." 

Naturally, fans received the excellent news warmly and flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages. Owens led the comments writing, "So excited!!!!" and added a red heart emoji.

Elaine Welteroth, a well-known journalist, expressed her happiness for the couple by writing, "Love this stage of life for you," And retired gymnast McKenna Lane Kelley gushed, "Congrats to the Owens!"

While the newlyweds draw closer to living in their dream homes, they've already started hitting milestones. Last month, the couple celebrated one month since they got hitched. Biles, who was over the moon, marked the milestone with never seen pictures from their weddings in Cabo. 

The breathtaking picture unveiled Biles and her man in each other's arms, posing in the serene and beautiful scenery. The 25-year-old gymnast looked stunning in a white wedding dress with a flowing train. 

The NFL star matched his wife's looks with a beige suit and brown shoes. The background of the picture, which consisted of pristine white, tall walls, a neutral backdrop, and a leafless tree, enhanced the beauty of the snapshot. 

"One month into forever loving you," Biles proudly stated in the caption and tagged the photographer behind the photo, "@stanlophotography." Sure enough, fans filled the post's comments section with sweet words for the couple. 

One fan gushed, "Everything about this is beautiful," before another called the lovers "My favs." "This pic is unbelievably gorgeous," a fellow supporter exclaimed, and one confessed, "Your love story lifts my spirit with its authentic beauty." 

The couple's nuptials in Cabo made headlines in May when Biles shared some moments from the ceremony. Two pictures from her update showed the soulmates having an intimate kiss. The following slide displayed the bride walking down the aisle alongside her adoptive father, Ronald. 

While those pictures were eye-catching on their own, the spotlight was an emotional moment the groom had when he spotted his bride. The image revealed the football player with a teary eye, clearly spellbound upon seeing his woman.
