The season 5 premiere of “Temptation Island” is just days away, so it’s time to get ready to follow four new couples as they try to figure out if what they have is real or replaceable. This new season offers some crazy twists and turns, including the addition of the “Temptation Light.”

To begin, the four couples - Katlin and Hall, Paris and Great, Marisela and Christopher, and Vanessa and Rob - arrive with smiles in Maui, Hawaii for their adventure to begin.

But they aren’t alone on the island; they’re joined by 16 single men and women who can ultimately help make or break their relationships. During their time on the island, the couples will have to make the decision to either commit to each other or give in to the temptation of the singles looking to find love.

Kaitlin, 31, and Hall, 35, from Charleston, South Carolina, have been together on and off for eight years. She had the idea for the couple to go on 'T.I.' before they tie the knot for a few reasons, one of which is that she’s unsure why she’s dragging her feet on the wedding planning.

Another issue for Kaitlin was three years into the relationship, Hall told her that he wanted to see other women but didn’t want to cheat. They ended up breaking up for a year and a half before he admitted that he made a mistake and they got back together.

Five years later, they are engaged and he’s ready to settle down and start a family, but it’s now Kaitlin who’s apprehensive about moving forward.

Paris, 23, and Great, 25, are both coming from that crazy party lifestyle that isn’t exactly pro-monogamy.

In Paris’ culture, it’s natural to marry young and have kids early, so she’s ready for just that. But Great's not exactly on the same page.

For this couple, spending some time apart might help them to get aligned or realize it’s not going to work out in the long run.

During a sneak peek into the new season, host Mark L. Walberg talked about some of the new things this season will bring.

“In this tropical paradise, the couples will live separately with 16 single men and women,” he said. “This season, we are turning up the heat with all new twists, higher stakes, and more temptation than ever before.”

He added a little hint about something new this season that will certainly “turn up the heat” for the couples and the singles.

“This time around, there’s nowhere to hide the ‘Temptation Light,’” he said. “If it’s on, one of your partners has given into temptation.”

Season 5 of "Temptation Island" premieres on USA Network on Wednesday, June 14 at 9 p.m. EST.
