The family is singer Britney Spears is reportedly concerned about her alleged drug use.

Although the 41-year-old pop star was in a conservatorship from February 2008 to November 2021, fans were hoping that the singer would be taking control of her life and start releasing new music after her conservatorship ended. On Saturday, June 10, the Daily Mail dropped a bombshell report about the singer. Their report indicated that some members of Britney’s family are claiming that she is addicted to crystal meth. Her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who is the father of Britney’s two teenage sons – Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16 – said he has “fear” that she is on meth.

“I fear she's on meth – I've been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up,” Kevin told the publication. “It's terrifying. She is the mother of my boys.” He also alleged that Britney’s boys have been afraid of visiting her house due to concerns that “they have seen drugs being delivered to her house.”

Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, who was largely in control of her financial and personal life during the conservatorship, told the outlet that he had concerns that Britney was going to “meet the same fate as” Amy Winehouse, who passed away at age 27 from drug use.

Kevin said that he noticed parallels between the two. “Every time the telephone rings, I fear that there will be devastating news,” he said. “I don't want the boys to wake up one morning and find their mother has taken an overdose.”

As The Blast previously reported, Kevin’s current wife, Victoria, is a former volleyball player who has been offered a job at a university in Hawaii. Britney has given her formal consent for both of her boys to make the move since they are still minors; however, K-Fed made headlines last month when he threatened to take the matter to a judge if she did not give her consent by a specified deadline.

However, some fans suspect that there is more to the matter than meets the eye. In the state of Hawaii, child support continues until age 23, as long as the child in question meets certain education requirements, like going to college.

However, it is not clear if Sean, 17, is enrolled in college in Hawaii. What fans do know is, shortly after she gave her consent, she posted two photos of her children to Instagram. She posted a photo of Jayden around age four and then posted a photo of Sean Preston a few days later, captioning the post, “My first love !!!”

This Is Not The First Time That Her Family Has Been Concerned For Her

Back in February, sources told TMZ that they were concerned about her “erratic, volatile behavior.” One source even went as far as to say, “I’m afraid she’s gonna die.” One insider alleged that she is “flying off the handle” more frequently and deciding not to take medication that will “stabilize” her.

The plan for an intervention reportedly involved her manager and her husband, Sam Asghari, who posted several tributes to the pop star for their one-year wedding anniversary on June 9. Sources told the outlet that the “plan” was for Britney to stay at a rented house for two months to receive “medical treatment and psychological counseling.”

However, Britney reportedly became “somewhat aware” of the plan and the intervention reportedly never came to be. However, sources say that Britney did meet with a doctor, and the meeting “went well,” although it’s not clear what kind of doctor she met with.

That being said, TMZ reported in May that Britney’s marriage to Sam is in “deep trouble.” They claim that the singer “has gotten physical with Sam” and that the two engage in “frequent” screaming matches that have gotten so “volatile” that security was needed to intervene.

Britney has yet to respond to the reports of her alleged drug use. She deactivated her Instagram account on Thursday after sharing a photo of actor Brad Pitt and a "weird" story about her uncle. She reinstated her Instagram account on Friday but did not post anything about her wedding anniversary.

On Saturday, she deleted the photo of Brad Pitt and the strange story involving her uncle. As of now, she has yet to address the reports of her alleged drug use, but her husband, Sam, previously slammed "click bait" headlines and warned fans not to believe everything they read online.
