Singer Britney Spears has reportedly agreed to let her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, move to Hawaii with her two teenage sons, but fans think that there is more to it than that.

The couple was married from 2004 to 2007 and shares two children together: Sean Preston Federline, 17, and Jayden James Federline, 16. Fans think that K-Fed is trying to get some more child support out of the pop star, as child support can last up to age 23 as long as a child continues to pursue their education out of high school.

Britney Spears Fans Think That Kevin Federline Is Moving To Hawaii Just To Get More Child Support!

After the news broke that the "Hold Me Closer" singer allowed her ex-husband to move her two teenage sons to Hawaii this summer, one user tweeted, "He’s doing this because the courts can force her to pay child support up to the age of 23 in Hawaii."

Although child support can end at the age of 18 or even 21 in some places, in the state of Hawaii, it can last until age 23 if the child is enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university, or in a vocational or trade school, according to the Porter, McGuire, and Kiakona legal group.

When the poll closed, 93% of users said, "Yes. He's up to something" while only 7% felt, "Nah. That's a stretch."

"It is painfully obvious Britney is still trapped and will be as long as so many people depend on her $$$," they added.

Earlier this week, The Blast obtained exclusive court documents that showed that K-Fed is being sued for alleged nonpayment by a private school where he sends two of the children he shared with his current wife, volleyball player Victoria Prince, whom he married in 2013.

The private school is suing the couple for $15,593.00 for alleged non-payment on a contract that was created on August 1, 2018. According to the legal filing, on or about May 16, 2019, the private school claims that the couple “breached the agreement by failing to pay for services which had been provided on credit at their special instance and request.”

The school is also suing for an interest rate of 10.0000 percent per annum from on and after May 16, 2019, as well as attorney’s fees and any other relief the Court deems just and proper.

The reason that was given for K-Fed’s move to Hawaii is that his wife Victoria, a former volleyball player, was reportedly offered a job at a sports department at a university in Hawaii, causing the family to want to make the move by August 1.

Although Britney Spears has now agreed to the move, K-Fed’s lawyer had talked to the press and made it known to the world that he was willing to take Britney to court to get a judge to consent to the move if she wouldn’t.

Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, had some harsh words for Kevin's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, in a letter published earlier this week. Those interested can read what he had to say about the situation by clicking here.
