Guest Jumps Out Of Roller Coaster Ride Vehicle At Disney World

A Guest broke the rules at Walt Disney World after she jumped out of her ride vehicle during a delay aboard the new roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, at EPCOT.

The incident was caught on camera after the roller coaster had come to a stop for what seemed to be a delay or breakdown of some sort. The live feed showed the ride stopped with the lights on, seemingly getting ready to evacuate when a Guest squeezed out of her lap bar and exited her ride vehicle.

Other Guests started panicking, telling her to get back in the ride vehicle right before a Cast Member came over the loudspeaker to direct her to get back into her seat.

"Please remain seated… please go back to your vehicle," the Cast Member said in a frustrated tone of voice. "There will be a Cast Member with you shortly, go back to your vehicle. Woman in tank top, please go back to row two. Please return to your vehicle. A Cast Member will be with you momentarily."

The woman is then seen walking back over to her ride vehicle; however, she was unable to get back into her seat so she stood outside of the ride vehicle instead.

It is important to note that climbing out of a ride vehicle while in motion is extremely dangerous and could result in serious injuries. It could also result in a ban from the Park as the Guest broke the rules. However, it is unknown if this Guest was banned from the Park after Cast Members escorted her out.

This is not the first incident to involve a Guest jumping out of a ride vehicle. Just days before Splash Mountain closed to Guests permanently at Disneyland, a young female, who looked to be in her teenage years or young 20s, seemingly had a panic attack and jumped out of the moving log flume ride vehicle.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is EPCOT's newest roller coaster that features the first-ever reverse launch on a Disney coaster. The ride is themed on Marvel's popular "Guardians of the Galaxy" series and includes favorite characters from the film, including Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana).
