Sarah Jessica Parker is channeling "Carrie Bradshaw's" iconic style for the "Sex and the City" anniversary!
Two and a half decades have passed since the show first premiered, yet its influence and cultural significance remain as strong as ever. The iconic leading lady of the beloved series shone brilliantly as she joined her co-stars to commemorate the remarkable milestone.

Against a backdrop of glitz and glamor, the 58-year-old and her beloved castmates Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Nicole Ari Parker came together in a heartfelt reunion to pay homage to the groundbreaking series that captivated audiences worldwide. Completing the gathering was the series creator herself, Candace Bushnell.
The highly-anticipated event, held in the vibrant city of New York, brought back cherished memories and rekindled the magic of the beloved show. The two-time Emmy Award winner struck a pose on the steps of the meticulously recreated apartment at 66 Perry Street.
She was dressed in a dazzling sequin gown and radiated elegance and style, accentuating her trim waist and revealing her fashionable peep-toe heels. With her luscious curly blonde locks cascading down to her waist, Parker adorned her wrist with dazzling bracelets.
Daily Mail reported that the trio of leading ladies embraced the opportunity to strike a pose against backdrops that paid homage to their respective characters, showcasing iconic quotes and images that defined the series. A highlight of the event was a captivating giant wall display showcasing Carrie's legendary shoe collection, including her cherished Jimmy Choo heels.
Interestingly, the event did not mention Kim Cattrall, the actress who gained global recognition and garnered a devoted fan base by portraying the aggressive and assertive publicist Samantha Jones.
The speculation surrounding Cattrall's potential return to the "Sex and the City" reboot continues to captivate fans and spark discussions. Previous reports indicated that the 66-year-old was effectively excluded from any potential return to the show.
However, in February last year, The Blast reported that SJP decided to share her thoughts on extending an opportunity for Cattrall to rejoin the series. During an interview, the "Failure to Launch" star expressed her reservations, stating:
"I don't think I would [be ok with it] because I think there's just too much public history of feelings on her part that she's shared."
She also mentioned her avoidance of reading articles related to the topic, despite being informed by others about the ongoing discussions. ICYMI, the alleged feud began when Cattrall expressed her less-than-positive opinions about her co-star and the "Sex and the City" franchise during an interview with Piers Morgan in 2017.
When rumors of a "SATC 3" movie surfaced, it was revealed that the film was not progressing due to Cattrall's alleged "demands," which ultimately caused production to halt.
SJP Revealed Discomfort With Husband Mathew Broderick's Presence On Set Of 'SATC'
Despite being a prominent member of the show's main cast, the award-winning actress shared her unease regarding her beau's presence on set. According to Parker, the experience was uncomfortable, and she tried to avoid it as much as possible.
She confessed to feeling nervous about Broderick, seeing her during intimate scenes throughout different seasons. In another interview, the mother-of-three revealed her agitation, admitting, "I'd get so nervous. Like, 'Mathew's here. Please don't look at me."
Her uneasiness of seeing him on set might be what also stopped him from appearing on the show seeing as Broderick was also approached for roles on the series – not just once, but twice. The 61-year-old actor revealed that the producers extended offers to him, but he turned them down.
The couple, whose paths crossed for the first time during their involvement with a theater company – thanks to an introduction made by one of Parker's brothers — tied the knot in a Manhattan wedding on May 19, 1997.
The ceremony was officiated by the groom's sister, and since then has produced three lovely children, James and twins Marion and Tabitha.
