Sarah Jessica Parker Sends Fans Into An Absolute Panic With 'AJLT' Update!

And just like that… Sarah Jessica Parker is kicking things up a notch!

The actress teased, no actually, SHOOK FANS to their cores with what is to come in season two of the “Sex and the City” reboot, “And Just Like That…”

Now that Mr. Big is out of the picture, Carrie Bradshaw is single and very ready to mingle.

At the end of season one of ‘AJLT,’ fans see a potential budding romance between Carrie and her podcast producer, Franklyn Hernandez.

The two share a passionate kiss in the elevator right before the last episode ends.

Of course, this could be a storyline to at least open season two, but SJP recently shared some major news about Carrie’s love life in the upcoming season.

On Thursday, February 9, SJP shared a series of photos of Carrie and… AIDAN SHAW, played by John Corbett, passionately kissing in the street!

Mind you, this wasn’t just a one and done photo post, this was a photo dump.

The photo carousel showed them kissing and embracing one another.

She captioned the post, “This. Is. Not. A. Drill. X, SJ.”

Aidan was Carrie’s love interest throughout the “Sex and the City” series and made a cameo in the first ‘SATC’ film spinoff.

There’s obviously unfinished business between SJP and Corbett’s fictional characters.

A number of her famous friends reacted in absolute awe, shock and ‘WTF’ to the post.

Her bestie Andy Cohen wrote, “I’m freaking.”

Gwyneth Paltrow commented, “NO WAYYYYY.”

“MY HEART MY HEART MY HEART!!” Sophia Bush gushed.

“Please don’t play with our emotions like this on a Thursday,” Lena Waithe replied.

HBO Max, the show’s streaming platform, commented, “Not a drill but a dream come true.”

And clothing retailer, Old Navy, chimed in on the conversation with, “Carrie in her Bennifer era!!!”

A second season for “And Just Like That…” was announced on March 22, 2022.

“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors,” showrunner Michael Patrick King said in a statement. “The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just Like That … our Sex life is back.”

Sarah Aubrey, head of original content for HBO Max, added, “We have been delighted by the cultural conversation generated by these characters and their stories, set in a world we already know and love so much. We are proud of the work Michael Patrick King and our wonderful writers, producers, cast and crew have done to bring these stories to the screen. We can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for season two.”

In September 2022, SJP shared a sneak peek at the script for episode ‘201.’

“Just this much. For now. X, SJ,” she wrote.

Since then, she’s shared several glimpses into the filming of season two.

Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will return to their roles as Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt.

Kim Cattrall will more than likely not return given her absence from season one of “And Just Like That…” and her strained relationship with the rest of the cast.
