Trump, 76, was standing at the podium and learned the President had fallen while taking questions from Iowa voters.

"He just fell? On what stage?" Trump first asked. "He's at the Air Force Academy? Does he fall? Well, I hope he wasn't hurt."

"The whole thing is, look, the whole thing is crazy," Trump continued. "You gotta be careful about that. You have to be careful about that cause you don't want that. Even if you have to tip-TOE down a ramp, you gotta..." the former President trails off as the crowd screams unintelligibly around him.

"It's like an ice skate... You know, it's the same- cause that was the best speech I think I've ever made," Trump went on. "And it was pouring rain, and it was horrible, and cold and windy, and they have a pure ramp like an ice skating rink. It was 25 feet long, and, talking to the general, he has boots on, you know, big combat boots, and they're rubber soles, and I have nice, leather boots, and uhhhh, I say, 'You know what general, you get ready, if I grab you, you get ready cause I got this stupid ramp that somebody put up, and there are no stairs, right? So I tip-toed down and SUFFERED for that..." the former President continued. (via Twitter)

"Well, anyone would fall if they tripped over a sandbag. Sheesh. He's 80. But hell, I trip all the time," another user tweeted.
