Aoki Lee Simmons Dedicates Her Harvard Degree 'To All The Leading Ladies In My Life'

Recent Harvard University graduate Aoki Lee Simmons is dedicating her degree to "all the leading ladies" in her life.

The model recently took to social media to share photos, videos, and gratitude for her significant accomplishment.

Aoki Lee, 20, graduated from Harvard University with a degree in classics and government last week. She recently took to Instagram to share her gratitude for the influential women.

"*inhale* Congratulations to my Mom, my Grandma, my great grandma, my sister (a fellow baddie with a BRAIN, nobody how lowkey she is about it!) to the international network of aunties, sisters, and friends, the Evelyns, Kyokos and Kimoras, the women who could not always get their degrees right away but who made damn sure we got ours (and a couple of years early too!)," she began the caption to a carousel of photos and videos of her big day.

"This one's for you; I must dedicate this degree to all the leading ladies in my life because who am I If not their daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend? Who am I without who came before and besides? We go TOGETHER. Women, period."

She concluded her loving and gratitude-filled caption by closing this chapter of her life as she's ready to move on to the next chapter.

"Thank you for being here with me, crying tears of exhaustion, anxiety, and joy with me; congratulations, thank you so much, & in the immortal words of Jay-Z, we are on to the next one!?????"

Many of the Harvard grad's loyal social media followers, family, and friends left supportive and loving thoughts in the post's comment section.

Her sister, Ming Lee Simmons, wrote, "I'm so proud of you, my bb. ?"

Khloe Kardashian wrote, "Congratulations!!! I'm so so so proud of all of you gorgeous, intelligent, strong women!!!♥️"

One follower wrote, "Omg congrats, you should be so proud ???!!!" another added, "Congrats..been watching you since u enrolled Invictus."

After graduation, Aoki Lee told PEOPLE she's ready for the "next chapter."

"I feel grateful, proud, and relieved - in that order. It's a surreal feeling to be done with something that was such a huge part of my life," she said. "Now, like every other graduate, I'm on to the next chapter."

As for that next chapter, she's already got a plan in place.

"I'll be in New York modeling, writing, and working at my mom's company," she told PEOPLE. "There are so many projects that I can't wait to dive into. But it will be nice to take a breath."

Proud mom Kimora Lee also has some ideas for her daughter's next chapter. She hopes that Aoki Lee will continue with the same energy in pursuing her passion.

"I want Aoki Lee to keep the energy and passion she's shown her entire life," Kimora Lee told PEOPLE. "It's nice to have a Harvard grad in the family, but it might be nice to have an attorney, too."
