Arnold Schwarzenegger's Kids Avoid Half-Brother Joseph Baena At 'FUBAR' Premiere

Arnold Schwarzenegger recently attended the premiere of his new series, "FUBAR," with his five children. During the event, the actor's daughters with ex-wife Maria Shriver reportedly made their rift with their half-brother Joseph Baena, Schwarzenegger's child, from an affair very obvious.

Despite the apparent tension on the red carpet, Baena posted photos of him smiling happily at the event. There were many comments on his post, praising him for rising above his siblings' jealousy and unfair treatment.

Despite their messy relationship, Baena previously wished his sister Katherine congratulations on her wedding. At the time, a report claimed that Shriver's four kids "have no relationship" with Baena.

For years, there have been reports of tension between Arnold Schwarzenegger's kids with ex-wife Maria Shriver and his son, Joseph Baena, from an affair. At the recent premiere of Schwarzenegger's new series, "FUBAR," the tension between his daughters and Baena was quite evident.

Schwarzenegger was joined by his daughters, Katherine and Christina, on the red carpet, while Baena walked the carpet solo after them, despite also being there to support their father. A source close to Schwarzenegger spoke to Page Six about the family's dynamics after the event.

They shared that the 75-year-old actor's kids with Shriver "don't love" Baena, despite his strong relationship with Schwarzenegger. However, the action star's sons from his ex-wife, Patrick, and Christopher, weren't present at the film's premiere earlier this week.

The source also told Page Six that Schwarzenegger and Baena have a "very close" relationship. Baena was born from the actor's years-long affair with their former housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

They said, "But, honestly, the other kids don't love Joe. It's a shame as he's a perfect kid, and Arnold has always treated him fairly like all his other kids. But for whatever reason, the other kids take [the affair] out on Joe."

Despite the family's tension, Baena remained cheerful in his Instagram post after the premiere ended. He shared a photo of him smiling happily with his thumbs up and wrote, "I give FUBAR a two thumbs up!!!. I had an amazing time last night at the FUBAR premier!"

Despite Baena excluding his half-siblings from his Instagram post, many fans dropped comments calling out their alleged negative attitude. One comment read, "Joe is Arnold's true legacy, and his rich lazy kids are butthurt. Keep on trucking Joe."

Another fan wrote, "It's disgusting how you are treated, man, by your blood. Completely ignored due to something out of your control. Is it racial hostility?" They then urged Baena to "use this bullsh*t" as fuel for his success. 

One supporter said they started following Baena to show "support" because his "snobby siblings" refuse to be cordial.

The fan added, "You are a great example for many. You train hard, have made it on your own without taking your father's last name, have a job, support your father, and look up to him. In my eyes, you are an exemplary son."

The Schwarzenegger family has kept their tension private, so it's unclear exactly what relationship Baena has with his half-siblings.

However, in 2019, he wished older sister Katherine congratulations on her wedding to actor Chris Pratt. He was conspicuously absent at the wedding ceremony, which his other half-siblings and family attended.

At the time, an insider with the family spoke to Page Six and revealed the other kids "have no relationship" with Baena. However, they noted that Christopher and Patrick are closer to their half-brother than the girls. Patrick and Baena have reportedly been seen working out together before.

Another source explained that the family is "trying to navigate a private relationship before it's a public one." However, the Schwarzenegger kids and Baena seem no closer to being on good terms in the four years since Katherine's wedding.
