According to People magazine, Baena shared that one thing he does in a limited capacity as an actor is to ask his father's advice, as he's trying to "figure it out on my own."

"The main thing is just the work, putting in the work, the reps. That's the No. 1 thing that we always discuss. And it's just been me figuring it out myself," he shared.

Baena stated that he seeks advice from the former California governor "every once in a while," but he often prefers to go at it alone.

"I want to work hard, put in the reps, and work on my craft independently. There are no shortcuts in this. There are no shortcuts in acting or anything," Baena shared. "And so, that's what I want to get out of it is I want it to be my hard work and my ambition that gets me to that success."
