Alec Baldwin and Wife Hilaria Baldwin Get Glammed Up For Pen America Benefit

On Thursday, actor Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, had a pretty busy day!

Not only did the couple step out to the Pen America benefit to honor "Saturday Night Live" creator Lorne Michael, but they also took to Instagram to congratulate Ireland Baldwin on her first baby with her boyfriend RAC, born André Allen Anjos.

Ireland Baldwin, 27, is the only child shared by Alec Baldwin, and his ex-wife, Kim Basinger. Alec Baldwin is now a grandfather, and it looks like the family is close enough that he considers Hilaria to be a grandfather, as he captioned the snap, "Grandma and Grandpa head out for an evening …"

“Early bird special and back home by 7?” one fan joked. “We are 47 and 52 and we have 9 grandbabies under 5 years old. It's the BEST thing that ever happened to us! Embrace and enjoy your new titles. It's the most wonderful experience ever!!” another follower shared. “Congratulations on your new status as Grandpa,” a third fan chimed in.

“Good looking couple,” another follower shared. “Blessings,” another fan commented. “Looking great,” another follower wrote. “Good-looking grandparents! Congratulations!” another fan exclaimed. “You two are the most beautiful Grandma and Grandpa,” another follower added.

Believe it or not, the "Supercell" actor was not the first person to share that selfie. Instead, it was first posted to Hilaria's Instagram page on Thursday night, before Alec decided to share the photo on Friday morning with a different caption. Hilaria was not shy about admitting that her husband was "annoyed" to take the selfie in their attire.

"He was annoyed with me because I made him come out of elevator for a pic…it was worth it," she wrote in the caption. "We dress up so rarely now that Edu asked me: 'mommy, what’s on your eyeballs?' 'Makeup', I told him…I feel judged by a 2 year old," she joked.

"Swipe to see the back of this handmade dress and the brilliant designer @guvanchnyc. Hair by @jaredmriccardi. now Alec has to figure out how to untie the back and get me out of it…which means it might be my pjs until I can get help tomorrow from someone else," she joked.

Fans loved her new outfit, with one fan commenting, “Stunning all around and I love your hair.” Another follower wrote, “You both look lovely!” while a third fan added, “You look incredible!!!” Feel Collective CEO and lifestyle editor Emma Bing commented, “It’s always worth it” while comedian Caroline Rhea added, “That is the most gorgeous dress and you look divine.”

Although he didn't seem to want to take a selfie in his tuxedo, the "30 Rock" actor shared a photo from the event on his Instagram page on Thursday night.  "At the PEN AMERICA benefit honoring LORNE MICHAELS. Also, imprisoned Iranian writer @narges_mohamadi_51," he wrote in the caption.

"Narges Mohammadi received the 2023 PEN/Barbey Freedom to Write Award, which was accepted by her husband, Tahgi Rahmani (pictured here). Unbelievable courage on both of their parts," he added as fans showered the post with red heart emojis and messages of congratulations.

And Narges, congratulations to you also,” one fan commented. “Good looking group for a worthy cause!” another follower exclaimed as fans commented on his lack of facial hair.

For most of the month of May, the 65-year-old actor was in Montana filming the last few scenes of his Western movie, "Rust." The actor had been sporting a scraggly beard for months and was finally happy to shave it off last week and return to his family in New York.

“God, it felt good to shave off that beard…” he captioned an Instagram post that showed him lying in bed with a clean-shaven face. Fans were quick to agree, with one fan writing, “I’ll bet! You look 10 years younger.” Another follower agreed, writing, “Much more handsome without the beard.”
