LeBron's oldest son, Bronny James, 18, has signed his letter of intent for University of California basketball. Bronny's is now officially going to be a Trojan!

LeBron took to Instagram to share his proud dad moment with two photos - one of Bronny sitting at a table with pen in hand with his high school logo draped behind him, and another with mom Savannah James and younger brother Bryce James, 15, with Bronny.

The Lakers star captioned his post, "My boy signed his letter of intent yesterday for @uschoops! So damn happy and proud of you @bronny!! Pops shed a gangsta 🥺😢 seeing this. So AMAZING!! #ProudDad #BronnyGoingToCollege😱 #JamesGang👑 #FightOn✌🏾"

Fans dropped into the comment section to leave their thoughts and congratulatory messages.

USC Hoops left a simple comment, "SC ➡️ SC 👏👏👏." USC Track and Field also left a welcoming comment, "Welcome to the Trojan Family❗️"

"The day Bronny and LeBron play is gonna be something special," one follower wrote. Another added, "LeNextChapter 🔥🔥🔥."

Bronny James Announced His Decision To Play For USC A Few Weeks Ago

Bronny announced his decision to go to USC on Instagram on May 6 with a photo and simple caption that reads, "Fight On✌🏾#committed" The photo shared shows the 18-year-old athlete wearing his Sierra Canyon School uniform in the Trojans' locker room.

His announcement received more than 2 million likes and 15,000 comments. Many excited and congratulatory messages filled the comment section.

Kobe Bryant's daughter Natalia, who's a current USC student wrote, "FTFO❣️✌🏽💫," which stands for "Fight the f*** on," a play on the Trojans' slogan.

Nike Basketball wrote, "GREATNESS NOW. GREATNESS AHEAD. 🤝"

Bronny's brother Bryce left, "Yuhhhh," in the comments, and NBA player LaMelo Ball wrote, "💯💯💯."

And of course, let's not forget LeBron's excitement in Bronny's decision to sign with USC. According to PEOPLE, when speaking with Spectrum SportsNet after Bronny made his big announcement, LeBron called it, "one of the best days of my life."

"First of all, congratulations to Bronny on his decision he made. I'm super proud of him, our family is proud of him," James exclaimed.

"For me personally, it's even more special to me because it's the first time someone out of my family to go to college. Obviously, I didn't go to college. It's just a proud moment to seem y son go to college, and he's the first one to go to college in my family. Super duper proud, super emotional, but just super duper excited and happy for his journey."

While Bronny landed on USC, he was also considering Ohio State and Oregon, according to L.A. Times. He was also rumored to be considering joining the G League Ignite, a developmental team in the NBA G League.

According to ESPN NBA draft analyst Jonathan Givony, Bronny, who turns 19 in October, has first round potential when he is eligible in 2024.
