Priyanka Chopra revealed that her priorities have shifted since she welcomed her daughter Malti, and she would be willing to give up her career and move countries for her daughter's sake.

The actress recently shared insights into her personal life, including how her husband, Nick Jonas, first messaged her and how her mother-in-law remembers the first time Nick saw her when she won the Miss World pageant in 2000.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas revealed that she experienced a significant shift in priorities since becoming a mother to her daughter, Malti, with her husband, Nick Jonas.

In an interview with Femina, the 40-year-old actress said she would give up her career and move countries for her child without hesitation. "If I were asked to give up my career and move countries, I would do it without question for my daughter," she said.

Chopra mentioned that her parents, Madhu and Ashok Chopra, relocated to Mumbai as a teenager to support her blooming career. As a mother, she now understands the sacrifices they made. With a one-year-old daughter at home, the "Love Again" star now views her career differently. She revealed that she values her time on set but wants to prioritize being with her family. "I want to go back home. On time," she said. "I finish my job quickly, and then I'm home."

The "Quantico" alum emphasized that she loves her job, but "that doesn't mean I'm not going to do it with the same gusto that I did it with before." She added, "I know life is equally important."

In January 2022, the former pageant queen and her husband, Nick Jonas, welcomed their daughter, Malti, through surrogacy. The newborn spent 100 days in the NICU before finally coming home.

Initially, the couple kept their baby's face hidden from the public. However, Malti debuted at Jonas's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony alongside his brothers, Joe and Kevin Jonas. Since then, Chopra has shared more glimpses of Malti's life on her Instagram, showcasing their Easter celebrations and trips to toy stores.

The Miss World 2000 gushed to Andy Cohen about her child on "Watch What Happens Live" Thursday night, praising her for having the "happiest, most joyous" personality.

She described Malti as "magical" and added that the baby girl "doesn't have jet lag. She sleeps whenever."

During a recent appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Chopra shared the story of how Jonas first slid into her DMs when they started dating in 2018. She revealed that his opening line was, "I have been told we should meet." 

"How cocky? So sexy," Chopra added.

After admitting to googling Jonas and ogling his steamy "Close" music video, Chopra stated that she was not bothered by his dating history or past relationships. When asked about his ex-girlfriends during the podcast, she confidently replied that she does not "give a f**k" and "never did."

For the actress, the past is in the past, and she prefers to focus on moving forward in their relationship. As she explained, "I don't read my book backward. I believe you go forward in the chapters."

During a recent episode of "The Jennifer Hudson Show," the "Citadel" actress shared a fun fact about her husband. She disclosed that her mother-in-law had told her about the first time Jonas saw her when she won the 2000 Miss World pageant.

According to Chopra, her mother-in-law could remember when Nick was doing a Broadway show at seven. The actress explained, per ET, "She was like, 'I remember it so clearly, because it was November, Nick was on some Broadway show at seven years old, his brother was on some Broadway show at eight or nine,' and she said, 'I remember this clearly because Kevin Sr.' -- my father-in-law -- 'loves watching pageants and he was watching it, and Nick came down and watched you win.'"

Chopra has previously spoken about the 10-year age gap between her and Nick and how it had made her stop their relationship before ultimately moving past it.
