In a recent heart-to-heart discussion with DailyMail, the TV personality, she shared details about her weight loss struggles. Fans of the blonde beauty watched the entertainer go from a size eighteen to a size four on her We TV show.

After losing 300 lbs in 2017 thanks to diets and a bariatric surgery that removed part of her stomach, the 43-year-old has gained some of the pounds she lost. Opening up about her current weight, Shannon said:

"I've only put on back on 100 pounds, and I was actually putting back on that weight before I got sober. I've literally been at 241 pounds for almost two years; God pretty much wants me where I'm at right now."

The reality TV star continued, "Eventually, in your weight loss journey, you hit a sort of plateau, and I've plateaued at 241," adding that she did not cheat on her diet. "I don't drink soda; I don't drink tea; I don't snack like I used to."

When asked if she would like to lose the extra weight with Hollywood's trending "quick-fix" drug, Ozempic, the "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star, expressed disinterest in using the diabetes medication.

"I don’t want to try Ozempic because, honestly, I've heard about so many bad side effects," the matriarch explained. "It is using a drug that isn't really prescribed to do that. They're using a diabetic drug to take care of weight loss."

Although the drug reportedly has active ingredients that help people control their eating habits, the TLC alum noted she disapproved of managing her weight with a medication not created for that purpose.

As a recovering drug addict, the 43-year-old explained that the thought made her uncomfortable. "No offense to people who are doing it, but it's just not for me. I want to stay clean. I'm not judging anyone, but it's not for me," the media personality declared.

The Shannon Family's Matriarch Admitted To Spending Over $1 Million On Cocaine

The blonde beauty recently reflected on her longtime battle with substance addiction. Getting candid about her dark past, the TV personality revealed she once blew over $1 million on cocaine while suffering from a drug binge.

The entertainer, who has achieved three years of sobriety, allegedly got addicted to substances during her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Geno Doak. Full of remorse, the 43-year-old said she frequently thought about her poor choices, especially the money she wasted.

During these moments of self-reflection, Shannon noted that she always thought to herself: "Girl, what the hell are you doing spending all that d**n money?" Because she dwelled on everything she could have used those funds to do, the matriarch became frugal with her spending.
