Shannon shared that she also talks about it with her husband, Justin Shroud because she's "always thinking about that." She added, "I think about a lot of things I could do with that money. My husband tells me all the time that I can't dwell on it."

As of 2023, Shannon is officially three years sober but still suffers from unidentified health problems. These issues have caused the mother to be hospitalized with dizziness and severe headaches multiple times in 2022. However, various tests and hospital scans have yet to determine precisely what is wrong with Shannon.

The "Road to Redemption" star commented on her lack of diagnosis and said doctors have failed to find a cause for her illness because of prejudice. Shannon said they all judged her because of her substance abuse history and didn't take her current health problems seriously.

She said, "I hate that the doctors will look at someone who has been through something in their life, like an addiction, and they think that someone can't change. I'm over three years straight and clean. But when I'm honest and tell people that, the doctor just looks at you like you've got some major disease and I don't."

Shannon is releasing the new season of her show later this year, and it'll cover her courthouse wedding with Shroud in 2022 and their family ceremony this year. During her interview, the TV Star shared that the season will show their family in counseling and working through their problems.

Shannon also said it would feature her trying to repair her relationship with her daughters, whom she gave up custody of during her addiction. Her husband Shroud shared that it's been difficult for him to see the girls keep their distance from Shannon ever since.

He said, "I see the change that she's making every day, but they wasn't around to see it." Shroud continued, "But I understand where they're coming from too, you know, because I was an addict myself and people get tired of being told that you're going to do something and yet that it never comes."
