Melanie Martin, the late Aaron Carter’s girlfriend and mother of his son, is still grieving the painful loss of the singer, who passed away in November 2022. Despite the passage of time, the pain of losing Carter remains fresh for her, who continues to mourn his untimely demise.
Melanie Martin Pays Tribute To Aaron Carter On The Six Month Anniversary Of His Passing
Six months have passed since the tragic passing of the former child star, found dead in his bathtub in his Lancaster home. The online influencer took to her page to honor his memory with a heartfelt tribute.
She shared a reel with pictures of the love birds having fun and being intimate and the actor in several locations, presumably photoshoots. The “House of Carters” star could also be seen holding their son, Prince as a newborn, playing with their dog, and at their baby shower.
As the song “Summertime Sadness” by Lana Del Ray played in the background, Martin added more pictures of herself with her late beau embracing each other, looking very much in love. The emotional post was captioned, “6 months ago, I lost the love of my life 🦋😪💔.”
She followed up the clip on her page with another image on her Instagram story. She reposted a screenshot of a Facetime call between Carter and his best friend, Marie Catherine Huntley, from her page, which was tagged, “6 months since our last Facetime 😞.”
Last month, Martin looked like she was finally getting some closure when she opened up after the “Blacklisted” singer’s cause of death was made public. In response to the news of the official autopsy report, she took to her Instagram story to share a poignant tribute to the late star.
The post featured a simple yet powerful image of a small cross placed in the grass, seemingly in front of his home. Emotional and heartfelt, the image featured a small symbol with his name, date of birth and death, and his signature, “Love,” in the center.
The poignant picture was deeply personal, and the accompanying caption, “My Love 💔,” spoke volumes about her feelings. According to the report, the 34-year-old passed away from drowning in his bathtub while under the influence of a potent mix of aerosol duster and the sedative Xanax.
It went on to note that he was discovered unresponsive and submerged in his bathtub by a housekeeper, who had tried to serve him coffee. The document also stated that he drowned because “Mr. Carter became incapacitated while in the bathtub due to the effects of inhaling compressed gas and taking alprazolam.” This left him unable to breathe, ultimately leading to his passing.
Melanie Martin Shares Heartfelt Tribute On ‘I Heart Nick Carter’ Guest Star’s Five-Month Death Anniversary
Despite moving on with her life, she continues to remember him fondly through social media posts. On the fifth-month anniversary of his passing, The Blast observed that the entrepreneur shared a heartfelt tribute to her ex-fiancé and her thoughts on grief.
She started by uploading a series of throwback photos of herself and the “DWTS” alum, showing the pair in good spirits and enjoying each other’s company. The photo album was placed on a marble surface while Martin skimmed through it with fingernails painted with white and lilac nail polish.
In the caption, the Bulgarian native reflected on the five-month anniversary of the “Fat Albert” star’s passing and shared her thoughts, stating: “Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a disease or a sign of weakness. The price you pay for love is an emotional, physical, and spiritual necessity. The only cure for grief is to grieve.”
The comments section was flooded with sympathy and encouragement from the OnlyFans content creator’s followers. One person wrote, “Still sending 💕 you’re always family to his real fanbase ❤️,” while another added, “😢😢grief never expires, but the album is so beautiful, and I know Prince will enjoy seeing his parents’ love. Sending love.”
A compassionate fan left a note of concern, writing, “You’ve been through SO much; you deserve safety & rest ❤️.” This user, who also had experienced the loss of loved ones, empathized with Martin, saying, “Tell me about it; I’ve lost my two older brothers and my dad. We will grieve until we see our loved one again.”
