Melanie Martin Reminisce How Late Aaron Carter Helped Her Sleep

Melanie Martin fondly remembers the intimate moments she shared with Aaron Carter before his passing in November last year.

The pair began dating in early 2020 and welcomed their son the following year in November. Although they faced challenges in their relationship, including his struggle with addiction, Martin has continued to share fond memories of their time together and honor Carter's legacy.

Taking to her Instagram story, the star posted a picture from last year judging by the date at the top, "October 24, 2022." The selfie was taken from above by the late singer, who lay on the bed and smiled mischievously at the camera.  

The reason for his grin might have been Martin, who appeared to be profoundly asleep and, by snuggling against him, had left her manicured hand resting on the side of his face with her head under his arm.

The model explained in the caption, "Falling asleep on you was my favorite. I would knock out like a baby ❤️??." At the bottom, she emotionally revealed, "I don't get much sleep these days." 

The painful memory was preceded by a post she used to mark his tragic passing five months after his death. Per The Blast, she reflected on her time with the late singer, combing through some throwback photos of them together.

Each image captured happy memories and showed the couple affectionately embracing and enjoying each other's company. In the caption, the grieving star wrote:

"Its been 5 months? 'Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical, and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.'"

Beneath the post, messages of condolences and support poured in from Martin's followers. One fan expressed, "Still sending ? you're always family to his real fanbase ❤️." Another sympathized with her grief, writing, "??grief never expires, but the album is so beautiful, and I know Prince will enjoy seeing his parents' love. Sending love."

A caring supporter reminded her that she had been through a lot and deserved rest, while this person, who had also experienced loss, empathized with her pain, sharing, "Tell me about it; I've lost my two older brothers and my dad. We will grieve until we see our loved one again."  

After losing her partner and the father of her child last year, she was suddenly left with the responsibility of raising their son alone. Despite the challenges,  The Blast reported that she seems to be tackling the challenges of parenthood admiringly, and the video she posted to her Instagram story is proof of that.

In a proud mom moment, the entrepreneur shared a clip of her 1-year-old son, Prince, displaying his impressive ability to recognize numbers. Dressed in a blue Reebok shirt paired with jean shorts, the adorable toddler walked over to Martin and correctly identified a number displayed on a playing block, much to his mother's delight.

She continued to quiz him on the other numbers displayed, and he correctly identified each one. However, when she held up a square with the number eight, Prince surprised her by taking the figure and fitting it into a larger block. Instead of pushing for an answer, Martin laughed in delight and ended the video as he happily continued playing with his toys.

She is proving to be an exceptional mother, despite the odds, and although she remains resolute in her efforts to stay vital for her child, she often reflects on the memories of her baby's father. Last month the publication reported that she shared a heartwarming memory about the birth of their son.

She fondly recalled him holding her hands while driving, watching holiday movies together, and his humorous dance moves before revealing how the "I Want Candy" singer had been an unwavering source of support during the birth of their child. She wrote, "I miss you, holding my hand in the hospital room to give birth to Prince."

She recounted other things she missed about him, such as his piano, drum-playing skills, and sunbathing together.
