Salma Hayek sets beauty and friendship goals in a single Instagram post. Cozying up with gal pal Penélope Cruz, Hayek showed off the hard work of getting ready for a significant event like the Met Gala and complimented Cruz for needing the same amount of madness.

As one fan pointed out, the woman must be declared illegal and not just because she's drop-dead gorgeous!

Salma Hayek rocked a red Gucci creation for the 2023 Met Gala. It featured a patent bodice that flowed out into a layered tulle skirt with a slit, and the 56-year-old beauty wore red lace stockings underneath to complete the dressy look.

Hayek's dress, stunning as it looked, also attracted some questions from her fans, more because of Karl Lagerfeld than anything. She also tagged Penélope Cruz in the post, pointing out how she needed to work hard to prepare for the Met Gala, but Cruz was born with it!
