Even though the pomp and pageantry associated with the Met Gala have died down, Williams' pregnancy announcement is still getting engagement. The 23-time Grand Slams champion had uploaded five images of herself and her husband looking stylish in their matching black outfits, with the caption:

"Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala."

For those who did not get her drift with the first pic that showed her laughing and Ohanian poking out his tongue, the second slide featured a stand-alone of the "My Wife and Kids" guest star cradling her protruding baby bump. Other slides showed the expectant mom striking different poses, highlighting her tulle-fitted Gucci dress.

Fans promptly took the post as an opportunity to attack the artist responsible for her glam, with one declaring, "Serena deserves a better stylist and MUA. Congratulations on her new bundle of joy!"

A second person claimed that "the makeup and all is not make-up," A third chimed, "She's a perfect-looking lady, but the makeup needs to go, though." A fourth Instagram user admitted that although they loved "everything else," the makeup was "not giving."

As for Williams' original post, The Blast noted that millions celebrated the good news, as one person gushed in the comments, "Well, THIS is, like, the holy grail of pregnancy announcement flexes, if there ever was one. Congrats Serena and @alexisohanian!!"

Another fan typed, "Congratulations and wishing you a protected and loved birth," and a third commented, "Talk about making an entrance ✨ Congratulations to you and your family!" The former athlete's beau also joined in the congratulations by tweeting two images alongside the caption:

Since she retired from tennis last September, Williams has been taking on new roles. A previous report from The Blast proclaimed that she is allegedly working on a new memoir deal that could fetch her over eight figures.

Per one source, the one-time "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star's upcoming biography had become a hot topic in the publishing world, with speculation that she has "eight-figure deals on the table."

A second insider disclosed that the 367 match-winner had probably signed the deal, as her team had shown interest in receiving multiple book offers earlier. This would be the Aston Martin Chief Sporting Officer's second memoir since 2009 when she released "My Life: Queen of the Court."

"With the launch of 926 Productions, we aim to elevate female and diverse voices through content that speaks to everyone. I'm so excited to begin this next chapter of my career alongside Caroline, a woman who understands the art of storytelling and is passionate about evolving the entertainment industry in new directions."
