Simone Biles Has A Bigger Wedding Coming!!

Simone Biles is a wifey now after an impromptu wedding in a pop-up courthouse marriage. Currently, she’s working on her dream destination wedding!

The Olympic medalist didn’t hesitate to share with her social media followers that she married the man she has been calling the love of her life for the last few years, Jonathan Owens. She also shared that while they got married at a courthouse, the bigger wedding is coming soon.

“In a couple of weeks,” she and Owens will have a bigger wedding with family and friends in an undisclosed location. The news was revealed after she engaged in a Q&A with her fans in an IG Story chat.

The follower didn’t mince words when they asked, “Is there a bigger wedding planned?” Biles's response was full of excitement. “This is the most asked question!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!!” she gushed.

“We will have a wedding in a couple of weeks,” Biles confirmed. She then revealed that the whole point of their courthouse wedding was to be able to hop on a place and get married in a luxurious destination.

The athlete didn’t share where she will be getting hitched; destination weddings are usually somewhere warm, but you typically need to get officially married before getting on that plane. “We had to get married "legally" here in us - since our wedding will be a destination wedding.”

She even revealed that they didn’t place their real wedding bands on their finger to save them for the whole day. “Our wedding bands were from Amazon. We are saving our actual wedding bands for the big day.”

When asked, “If you had married in the U.S., would y'all still have gone to the courthouse prior?” Biles guaranteed that t courthouse was only out of necessity. “Nope!! If we decided to get married here in the U.S., we would not have done the courthouse.”

Biles was so candid about her special day she even shared that her feet were too wide for her wedding shoes, and she had to switch them out for her rooftop photoshoot. As if the decorated athlete couldn’t be more relatable, she revealed that, like their random wedding bands, her shoes were off of Amazon as well (hence them being “uncomfortable”).

Biles also pointed out that her wedding dress for the courthouse was from Selfie Leslie, and the replacement shoes were from Pretty Little Thing, “wide fit.” The day, for her and her professional football player hubby, was perfect, energizing them for the even bigger day.

Biles shared some minor details about her upcoming wedding #2, like the fact that she is currently experiencing OCD over her uneven number of bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Owen’s has once fewer groomsmen making it 7 to her 8. “That lowkey drives me nuts because it’s not even (picture purposes) but Oh, well,” she writes. We can’t wait to see the stunning pictures from this bride’s wedding, uneven bridal party or not.
