Simone Biles & Jonathan Owens Are Officially Married, See Their Stunning Wedding Photos

Star athlete Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are officially married. In a carousel of Instagram photos, Biles gave fans a peek into her big day. The new couple looked radiant in the pictures as they posed for the camera.

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Houston Texans player Jonathan Owens have tied the knot!

Biles and Owens exchanged vows in what appeared to be a courthouse wedding, according to photos shared by the 26-year-old athlete. Biles posted the carousel of stunning images from their special day captured by RaeTay Photography on Instagram and captioned it with the sweet message, "I do. Officially Owens."

The groom, Owens, also took to Instagram to share his excitement, posting lovely snaps from the wedding and expressing his love for his new wife in a heartfelt caption. "My person, forever #TheOwens #itsofficial," he wrote.

In the photos, the seven-times Olympic medalist looked radiant in a gorgeous white tiered gown, while Owens looked dapper in a stylish tan suit paired with white loafers. Biles' Instagram post received a lot of love and well wishes from various stars.

Normani, a former member of Fifth Harmony, exclaimed, "Congratulations, sis! This is amazing news," while tennis player Billie Jean King wrote, "Congratulations."

"Baby Boy" star A.J. Johnson shared her excitement and wrote, "Yayyyyy!!!! Sending BIG prayers for BIG blessings to cover your union!!" Ski racer Lindsey Vonn also said, "Congrats, you two!!."

The athletic couple's love story, which began just before the pandemic, has now culminated in them exchanging vows after two years of relationship fostered by their mutual love for animals and shared sense of humor. Before their wedding, Biles took to Instagram to show off their marriage license with her over six million followers on April 14th.

In her post, the Olympic medalist shared a joyful photo of herself and Owens sitting in a car, flashing their smiles and holding their license. Biles captioned the photo with, "It's almost time to say 'I do,' ' accompanied by a white heart emoji, and Owens promptly replied, "Soon," in the comments section.

For her bridal shower, Biles commemorated the celebration with a gorgeous blue-themed event held at The Juliana in Houston Heights, attended by close friends and family. The bride-to-be was donned in a resplendent floor-length white gown, while her bridesmaids wore lovely powder blue dresses.

The beautifully decorated shower featured many white balloons, a cocktail bar inside a white truck, a massive cream-colored cake, and champagne cocktails adorned with miniature clouds. Biles shared pictures of the precious moments on her Instagram Stories and posted images to her grid with the caption, "On Cloud 9 BRIDAL SHOWER. Feeling so loved & blessed," per People.

The Olympic champion had previously celebrated her "boujee" bachelorette party in Belize earlier this year, clad in a pair of light-wash jeans with the moniker "Mrs. Owens" emblazoned on the back pockets. Sharing the photos of the celebratory bash in a montage, she wrote, "Thanks @alaiabelize for hosting the most epic bachelorette ? we had a TIME!!!!!!! It was truly unbelievable."

In February of last year, Biles revealed that she and Owens took a significant step in their relationship when he asked her to marry him. Ecstatic, Biles pinned photos of the unforgettable moment to her Instagram profile as a memento of the occasion.

Owens popped the question with an oval-shaped diamond ring from ZoFrost, which he carefully placed on Biles' hand, kneeling. Sharing photos of the beautiful moment on Instagram, Biles wrote in the caption, "THE EASIEST YES. I can't wait to spend forever & ever with you. And you're everything I dreamed of and more! Let's get married, FIANCÉ." 

In response, Owens sweetly replied, "Ready for forever with you." Biles also updated her Instagram bio to include Owens as her soon-to-be husband alongside her accomplishments, such as her Olympic success and love for dogs.
