Inside Simone Biles' 'On Cloud 9' Themed Bridal Shower As Wedding Day Draws Near

Fans of the extraordinary Simone Biles are counting down till her wedding day with delight as she is set to tie the knot with her soulmate Jonathan Owens.

The bride-to-be has been in preparation mode since her engagement last February, hosting events as her big day draws nearer. 

One such occasion was a recently held extravagant bachelorette party in February, now followed by a swooning bridal shower that no doubt knocked her followers off.

Biles is more than ready to say I do to her partner of over two years, and while the day of the wedding is unknown, fans can expect it to be mind-blowing given her spectacular bridal shower.

She made a photo dump on Instagram with ten snaps from the shower, partly captioned "On Cloud 9 BRIDAL SHOWER," giving her admirers a chance to witness the perfection. The 25-year-old felt "so loved & blessed," as she expressed in the caption, adding a list of credits to those responsible for the event's success.

As seen in the pictures, the ceremony was white-themed, with the woman of the hour looking exquisite in a floor-length form-fitting halter dress paired with matching strap heels and classy jewelry.

The first slide gave a full view of the star of the day, with her grinning and raising a champagne flute in the air while her curly tresses cascaded around her shoulders. Several white balloons were captured in the background with a complimenting decor that showed the event's theme and "Simone Owens."

In the following slides, viewers saw more of the shower's decor, majorly a hoard of white balloons and furniture. In some, Biles posed with loved ones, and one shows her with a three-tiered white cake. Her followers flooded the comments in no time with sweet remarks, including one who gushed, "THE dreamiest bridal shower everrrr."

A second fan wrote, "Most gorgeous bride evaaaa," while a third was fascinated by the shower's lovely details. Similarly, a commenter called the theme "dope as hell," whereas a fifth commenter was utterly in love with Biles' dress.

The artistic gymnast did not end her dump on just her feed but went on to her Stories and dropped three more highlights, including one of the cocktail bar featuring some white balloons, a menu, and two similar-colored cylindrical stools.

Another Story post showed the party's cake on a veiled surface and captioned "Bride to be." And in the third update, Biles was snapped from behind, barefoot on faux grass and dancing with one hand raised.

In February, the celebrated athlete had a memorable bachelorette party with her pals, which she shared with fans on the gram, detailing the lavish celebration. Per The Blast, Biles was kneeling on a bed covered with presents in her hotel room.

She was all smiles for the shot and rocked an all-white outfit comprising a "Bride and Boujee" printed shirt, leggings, and sneakers. The head of the bed was decorated with massive gold balloons that spelled out "BRIDE," while "Future Mrs. Owens" was written in gold cursive letters on a white sash near the foot of the bed.

Also, a few luxury gift bags from brands like Chanel, Versace, and Hello Weekend were amongst the decor. In the caption, Biles penned, "the one where I'm the bride" in honor of the famous sitcom "Friends." She then added a confetti popper, champagne glasses, and engagement ring emojis.

As wedding plans are in full swing for Biles and Owens, the couple joined hands in purchasing a property in a serene area which the gymnast unsurprisingly shared on Instagram.

Biles uploaded three pictures, one showing her and her fiancé posing together on the excavated property. Owens wrapped his arms around her neck and kissed her earlobe.

In the second slide, the American football player backed the camera and stared at the horizon, while the final one featured only the cleared-out land.

"A home is made with love & dreams," Biles captioned the adorable post, adding, "Cheers to breaking ground." Naturally, fans were quick to drop lovely remarks, including Owens, who exclaimed, "So excited!!!!" and added a red heart emoji.
