Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, is known for its family-friendly attractions; character meets and greets, one-of-a-kind shows, and, of course, the magic within the Parks.
But did you know there is much more to Disney than just the four theme parks? There is one "hidden gem" bar and grill located on the property that you can visit without a Park ticket.
Geyser Point Bar & Grill
Located at Wilderness Lodge -- one of Disney World's Resort hotels on property -- Geyser Point Bar and Grill is, what I consider, a hidden gem. From burgers to salads, Geysers Point offers a menu guaranteed to satisfy everyone's palate.
Walt Disney World describes this bar and grill as:
Feast al fresco with delectable bites to grab ‘n’ go while enjoying the Resort’s rustic beauty. Nestled in the heart of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, this scenic outpost boasts a walk-up window for dining from the comfort of your lounge chair or at a table on the restaurant’s spacious outdoor deck.
Satisfy your palate with hearty lunch and dinner selections that include a bison burger topped with cheese, savory smoked turkey sandwich or grilled Portobello salad with zucchini, roasted red peppers, tomato, multigrains and goat cheese dressing.
If you’re hankering for a sweet treat, try the campfire chocolate mousse or the apple cider sorbet that's simply divine.
Don’t forget the kiddos! Little explorers can take a timeout from pool play and refuel with Disney Check meals featuring grilled chicken or a finger food sampler.
Geyser Point is located right on Seven Seas Lagoon in the Magic Kingdom area, meaning you can enjoy your meal while taking in the excellent views of the water and nature surrounding it.
And because Geyser Point is located at a Disney World Resort hotel, you can enjoy a nice lunch without purchasing a theme park ticket!
Specialty Flights
In addition to burgers and salads, Geyser Point also has a full bar. But during select times of the year, you may be able to order a specialty flight!
During Halloween, Geyser Point offers a spooktacular margarita flight for just $18! Last year, this flight featured the Black Magic, which had a spicy kick to it. It came with an adorable skull-shaped grenadine ice cube, the Poison Apple margarita, the Blood Orange margarita, which was my personal favorite of the four. The Around the Pumpkin Patch was a pumpkin-flavored margarita with a hint of citrus.
For spring, Geyser Point has a springtime margarita flight, which features grapefruit, elderberry, key lime, and lavender-flavored margaritas.
Geyser Point Bar and Grill is located at Wilderness Lodge, which is just a quick boat ride or Monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom -- and because it is located at a Disney World Resort hotel, you do not need a theme park ticket to visit. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem the next time you visit Walt Disney World Resort.
