Fans don't seem to love Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' show, "Live with Kelly and Mark." Many have slammed the duo for multiple reasons since Consuelos took over from Ryan Seacrest, including excessive PDA and fake banter."

Although most fans aren't thrilled to see Ripa and Consuelos working together, the latter shared in an interview that he is enjoying his new position. The actor was also praised by his wife for easily adjusting to his new role far quicker than was expected.

Ripa and Consuelos have continued to come under fire since they began "Live with Kelly and Mark," the revamped version of "Live with Kelly and Ryan," per Page Six.

This time, fans have slammed the duo for packing on too much PDA on the show, with many on social media expressing how off-putting those gestures feel.

One Twitter user questioned why Consuelos kept touching Ripa during the second "Live" episode, saying that he did so "more times in TEN minutes than Ryan [Seacrest] did in a week!"

Another said that Consuelos wasn't really acting out his real self, faulting his relationship with his wife.

"Like both of you guys. Together on the show seems a bit awkward though. It's like Kelly has Mark henpecked, and he can't really express himself. And Mark is too mushy with Kelly," the fan said.

One more fan noted, "LESS married couple of 27 yrs – MORE morning talk show colleagues/cohosts. Please just stick to the hot topics and pop culture."

The Duo Was Slammed After The First Live Show

The latest negative remarks comes after the show received much flak following its debut episode. Part of the criticism includes an accusation that the married couple was indulging in "fake banter" and wasn't lively.

Ripa was also chastised for frequently interrupting Consuelos as he recounted their recent romantic stroll in Central Park.

"We used to run through the park, but now we're –" Consuelos said, before Ripa quipped, "We used to chase each other." Consuelos continued, "We saw some people who we used to see run and they were now also walking."

But Ripa once again jumped in, "It's so funny how, I don't know if it's age or our knees, whatever it is, time."

Mark Consuelos On 'Live with Kelly and Mark'

While most fans might not be feeling ecstatic about having Ripa and Consuelos working together, the "Riverdale" alum seems to be enjoying his new role.

"This show today truly felt like home," the actor said during an interview with US Weekly. "I always feel at home with Kelly, but [working] together this morning just felt so right."

Consuelos further remarked that being together with his wife "always" makes him feel at "ease" and that he is "lucky we get to do that daily" via the new role.

He also noted that he was eager to see the new heights they would reach in the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, Ripa lauded her husband for what she deemed an "amazing" debut. She said, 'He's a natural, and I have a good feeling this is going to be great for a while.'

Mark Cousuelos Replaced Ryan Seacrest

Consuelos replaced Seacrest who left to concentrate on his role as host of "American Idol" alongside, hosting "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on KIIS-FM.

At the time, the media personality also revealed plan to put more attention on his charity work.

"I'll be transitioning out of Live this Spring to shoot the 21st season of American Idol in LA….and focus my summer on opening three more Ryan Seacrest Foundation Studios in pediatric hospitals across the country," he penned.

Seacrest also left the door open for future guest appearances in the new version of the show.

He added, "I'm looking forward to coming back to guest host in the future, and Kelly, I promise to forever share my food photos, chicken eggs, and olive oil with you. And congratulations to my brother Mark, feel free to remodel my dressing room!"
