Bella Hadid Drops Concerning Video Of Having Her Blood Drawn At Hospital

Bella Hadid might be battling another health challenge following the recent video she shared on her Instagram Story.

The supermodel without diving into any details shared a concerning clip of her at the Hospital. However, this would not be Hadid's first visit to the hospital this month, as the model earlier revealed she had developed a low-grade infection underneath one of her teeth amid her continued battle with Lyme disease.

The IMG model may have sparked many concerns from well-meaning fans after casually sharing what she had been up to. Taking to her Instagram Story, Hadid posted an eight-second video of herself at the hospital, surrounded by blood test samples and syringes.

Focusing the camera on her elbow, the model filmed how a phlebotomy technician inserted an IV needle into her elbow to draw blood.  After the procedure was carried out, Hadid panned the camera to reveal her blood sample that was taken and added to the other samples placed in a tray. 

The concerning video, which she didn't give more context to comes after the 2016 Model of the Year opened up about her struggles with Lyme disease and tooth infection in early April.

In a nearly three-minute-long clip she posted to her TikTok page, the second daughter of real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid and former model turned reality star Yolanda Hadid disclosed her predicament, wearing a camisole and no makeup as she lay in a bed decorated with white sheets and pillows. 

Addressing her fans in a gentle tone, the model narrated her situation in a text overlay. "Making the video would be impossible if I was having a flare-up or not feeling safe/calm in my environment as I am with my mom & horses the past 4 weeks."

Hadid further added that even though the swelling in her jaw had reduced, she would put up a snapshot to show what she looked like "on a normal basis when I'm flaring up." 

In her words, "You can only wonder why my face changes the way it doesn't and this is why. End of story," she explained. The supermodel also disclosed how her disheartening circumstance had affected her mentally. She revealed,

"That's why I hate looking in the mirror or taking pictures especially lately, truly wanting to throw up at the sight of myself constantly."

The About You fashion collaborator then added that she was dealing with a "Lyme flare up, adrenal fatigue, infected tooth jaw and gut, chronic exhaustion, dehydration + fatigue, brain inflammation, and migraines."

Adding the proof of her skin "breaking out randomly" with her getting what "feels like lesions" at the bottom, the 26-year-old noted that viewers could tell the difference between her being healthy and having Lyme flare up if they looked through her "work pictures from the past eight years."

Hadid then went on to admit that she looked and felt like that picture on "most days" and apologized for "the way" she shot covers and campaigns while in that state for months. 

Regarding her Lyme disease, the model divulged that she had to be homeschooled and had to stop riding horses due to trauma and brain fog, revealing that the only person who believed she was chronically ill was her mother, Yolanda, who was also diagnosed with Lyme in 2012. 

She noted that after getting misdiagnosed with ADHD at 14 and self-medicating at 15, she found help at the University of Nevada. The IMG model further highlighted her challenges and later apologized to her body for the pins and needles used on it. 

In due time, fans trooped into her comments section to comment on her health issues, while others thanked the "Ramy" star for opening up about her challenges.

While the supermodel might be dealing with multiple health complications, that doesn't stop her from lending her voice to stand up for her colleagues in the entertainment industry. 

Per The Blast, Hadid took to her Instagram to show support for Ariana Grande amid her battle with body shamers. She reposted the "Side To Side" singer's TikTok video about her body and pleaded with her followers to be kind.

Tagging @arianagrande alongside a white emoji, Hadid began her caption, writing, "You never know what someone is dealing with mentally or physically. Disease or depression. Grief or heartache. You don't, and you will never know until you walk in a day in their shoes."

She urged her fans to express their concerns about someone through kindness instead of making comments about a matter they did not understand. She wrote, "Instead of unsolicited advice or opinions, judgment or aggression, just try to offer a helping hand and be kind."

Noting that there was a reason for the way "people look/felt," she admonished her fans to be "soft," especially when they don't know someone or what they've been through.

The model implored her followers to examine themselves inwardly before judging people and beseeched them to be humane versions of themselves. She concluded by declaring her love for Grande. She wrote, "And I love you, Ari. This is so important; I am very proud of you. It will help so many people. Thank you."
