Yolanda Hadid Claps Back At Fans Criticizing Her Parenting Methods

A viral TikTok video about Yolanda Hadid's parenting had Hadid clapping back with her own video. TikToker @pattypopculture created a video explaining "5 Reasons Everyone Hates Yolanda Hadid" and the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum decided to chime in with her own. Patty's video received more than 6 million views and has more than 771,000 likes and 2,300 comments.

In the video, creator Patty goes over five reasons Hadid is disliked. He listed them as,

1. Starved her daughters

2. Bella's nose job

3. Violating Zayn

4. Gigi > Bella

5. Very homophobic

The video features relevant clips taken from the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" while talking about each bullet point to further prove his argument. Viewers of the video joined the chat by commenting a variety of things. One commenter wrote, "i feel so sorry for them, especially Bella. the amount of trauma and complexes that they have now." Another added, "Her daughters are going to write books about her when they get older I just know it." And yet another comment read, "I bet them girls are thanking her now," to which video creator Patty responded, "They could have achieved just as much with a good relationship to food and their bodies."

One of the video clips focused on the time Hadid's daughter Gigi, now 27, said she was feeling "weak" after eating just half of an almond. Hadid responded to her by saying, "Have a couple of almonds. Chew them really well." Hadid's clapback TikTok video specifically responds to that part of Patty's video.

In the video simply captioned, "#worstmomever #almonds," Hadid is seen poking fun at the situation by posing with a large bowl of almonds, snacking on them and sharing them with a horse and two goats. Despite the humorous nature of the clip, TikTok flagged the video adding a warning to it - "Participating in this activity could result in getting you or others hurt."

While Patty's video was posted in late July, Hadid didn't respond until a few days ago possibly because she was on what she called a "nine-month social media detox" and is likely just catching up with all she missed while offline. The viral TikTok by Patty must have struck a chord with Hadid because her clapback response is only the third post she's done on TikTok.

The reality star's TikTok followers mostly commented on her video with comedic responses. "The clap back no one expected ?," said one follower. Another chimed in with, "Best marketing/social media/pr team in the game ??." Other comments included, "Don’t forget to chew really well," "YOLANDA not u being proud of this ?," and "All of these scenes were taken completely out of context if you watch the show you’d know she’s actually an amazing mom and human."

The mom of three announced her social media hiatus and why she decided to do so in an Instagram post back in July. The caption reads, "❤️ Coming back from a 9 month social media hiatus, a time to reevaluate my life. After the loss of my mother i really struggled with depression followed by a lyme relapse….the emotional stress and grief strongly effected my immune system. My phone addiction didn’t help either, it started to take so much time away from being present in my life." Her caption went on to say, "Anyway this has been a wonderful reset, time to break the habit of picking up my phone 50 times a day. Learning to focus on myself, my health journey and being present in this moment of my life."
