Did Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik Reunite To Celebrate Daughter's 2nd Birthday?

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been parents for two years now.

Time really does fly by.

The former couple, who split in 2021 following an altercation between the former One Direction singer and the supermodel’s mother, seemingly reunited to celebrate their little bundle of joy’s second birthday.

Uh, oh.

Does that mean the terrible twos are coming for Gigi and Zayn?!

The parents to Khai celebrated her birthday in full toddler style. Their little one got an intricate “Peppa Pig” cake and Gigi made sure to tag the bakery and her ex-boyfriend.

She captioned the photo, “Our angel baby turned 2 today ???.”

It’s not 100% clear if Zayn celebrated with Gigi and Khai in person, but given their co-parenting style, they most likely did.

Zayn and Gigi’s daughter’s birthday comes just weeks after she and Leo DiCaprio sparked dating rumors.

Not long after the notorious bachelor, who typically only dates women under 25-years-old, broke up with his girlfriend of four years, he was spotted out with Gigi.

On September 12, PEOPLE reported the superstars were “getting to know each other.”

Then two days later, Entertainment Tonight spilled all of the tea.

“Gigi and Leo are dating and into each other,” a source told ET. They continued to dish on their “very flirty” date to Casa Cipriani in New York City.

“They were sitting in the dining room area and were canoodling and having a fun night out with each other,” the source said, with a second insider adding that they're “having a good time together and Leo is very attracted to Gigi.”

Neither Gigi nor Leo have confirmed the news, but the supermodel’s father, Mohamed Hadid, weighed in on the dating rumors.

Hadid told the Daily Mail that prior to his daughter reportedly dating the Lothario, he met him in St. Tropez four or five years ago.

“I met Mr. DiCaprio in St. Tropez four or five years ago and he is a very nice man,” Mohamed told DM. “I liked him.”

Hadid didn’t reveal much more about what he knew, but was quick to add, “I don't think they are dating; I believe they are just good friends.”

Unlike Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, her father noted that he does not comment on his daughter’s personal relationships.

“I have no say in who she is dating,” Hadid added.

This is Gigi’s first relationship since breaking up with Zayn after being on-and-off for six years.

The couple broke up last year following a physical altercation between the singer and Gigi’s mom.

On September 29, 2021, Yolanda stopped by the house to check in on her granddaughter and Zayn didn’t take kindly to her unannounced drop in.

The two exchanged some words, which included Z calling Yolanda a “Dutch slut,” and an altercation ensued.

Zayn was given two harassment charges involving Yolanda, one charge for harassing Gigi Hadid over the phone and another charge involving a security guard, John McMahon, whom he attempted to “physically engage in a fight,” per the court documents.

Zayn plead no contest to all of the charges, but he will have to serve 90 days probation for each count along with taking anger management classes and paying court fines and other penalties.

According to Life & Style, the British pop star “is making tremendous progress” following the headline-making showdown.

An insider told the outlet, “The anger management classes really helped him get to a better place. Everything is going well, except for Yolanda, who is urging her daughter to move forwards not backwards.”
