In her usual manner of updating fans on her endeavors, the 62-year-old shared the news of her forthcoming book with her fans on Instagram. In the video she uploaded, she carried fans along as she took the new step, expressing her anxiety about this new chapter.
She began saying, “I’m sitting in front of my computer, I’m just finished writing my editor an email, and ehm, it has my third cookbook attached. And I’m about to press send. And I’m nervous.”
The Tv host giggled nervously and declared, “I’m proud of this book.” Releasing some of her anxiety, she took a deep breath and then announced, “So here we go; I’m going to press send. I don’t know why this is the hardest part. It’s like I know I’m letting it go.”
Despite the nervousness, the Daytime Emmy Award recipient finally hit the send button and gave a little celebration laugh. Captioning the post, the chef wrote, “A sigh of relief and a little bit of terror. 😅 My third cookbook is headed your way next year! 🧑🍳 📕”
Shortly after making the post, several fans pointed out to Bertinelli that she had their support while congratulating her. One fan wrote, “Why nervous V? You know we love you, and we’re looking forward to your cookbook and will love it! We got you, girl! ❤️” Another fan commented, “YOUVE GOT THIS! We all believe in you!”
A third admirer cheered Bertinelli, writing, “Yes, girl!! Let it go, and the possibilities are endless for you! Stay strong ❤️.” Bertinelli’s book update comes days after she announced that “Valerie’s Home Cooking” show has ended on Food Network.
As The Blast earlier covered, the mom of one took to Instagram to share the update. She started by informing ardent followers of the program when season 14 would air. However, she followed up with the sad news. “Food Network canceled us last summer, and I have no idea why,” Bertinelli said.
“I didn’t say anything last summer because I was hoping they would change their mind, but they have not, so this is it. This is the final season.” The loved cook emotionally disclosed her love for creating the show, describing it as “a dream come true” that has brought her “so much joy.”
She then sent love to everyone who helped towards the show’s success. As was expected, many ardent followers reacted to the sad news and comforted the host with supportive words.
The ‘Valerie’s Home Cooking’ Host Believes This Year Would Be Her Best
Last month, the “Kids Baking Championship” host expressed her high hopes for this year. She shared her positivity with her fans by uploading an Instagram reel.
The footage showed the actress, dressed in a casual ensemble, strolling under a bright blue sky. Enjoying the scenery, Bertinelli said, “It’s such a freaking beautiful day; I don’t know if you can see.” She then turned the camera toward the sky, giving her fans a glimpse of the scenery.
Bertinelli continued dropping insightful words, “No matter how bad the storm is when that blue sky comes out and you kind of break through the crap, it’s so beautiful, it’s just so beautiful, and it almost makes the storm worth it.”
She added, “Yeah, the storm is worth it. Because you learn so much, you come out the other side, and you’re like, ‘Hey, I’m my knight in shining armor. I got through it.'”
At the end of the message, she said, “You get through one hundred percent of the days you never think you’re gonna get through, right, think about that.'”
The “Apple’s Way” actress had more to say in a subsequent video. She said, “You know what? It’s a glorious life. I’ll take all the bad and sh*t year I had last year, the worst of my worst. I would take it because this feels like it’s going to be my best year.”
