On Easter, April 9th, Hilary Swank took to Instagram to give the sweetest bit of news to her fans. Dressed in a terry robe and looking out at the sunrise over the sea, Swank cradled her newborns in a stunning picture, writing, "It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. ?????"

She also wished everyone, "Happy Easter! ??" showing off her hatched chicks and wrote that she was "Posting from pure Heaven."

The names of the newborns as well as her birthing story are yet to be revealed. The twins are the first children for both Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, whom she married in a private outdoor ceremony at a California preserve in 2018.

Her twin bundles of joy were basically supposed to arrive on April 16th, which happened to be her late father's birthday. This news came out when Hilary Swank appeared on "The Drew Barrymore Show," which aired in October itself, where host Drew Barrymore started off the conversation with, "You just announced that your father has passed away one year ago and this miracle is happening."

Swank then left Barrymore delighted when she replied, "Yeah and they are due on his birthday."

Her father, Stephen Michael Swank, passed away in October 2021 at the age of 73. In December 2021, Swank wrote him a tribute on Instagram, "I had a rather unique relationship with him as I was his sole caretaker after a lung transplant seven years ago. I grew incredibly close to him during this time, deepening our relationship and savoring every moment we had together. He will always remain one of my most favorite persons and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him."

It seems her little babies could not wait a week more to be born and so graced her on Easter instead!

We can't wait to hear the names of the little boy and girl!
