'Jersey Shore's' Sammi 'Sweetheart' Proves Ron Has ZERO Chance With Romance

Sammi (Sam) "Sweetheart" Giancola will make her triumphant return to the "Jersey Shore" franchise later this season.

Her surprise announcement to appear on "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" was a complete shock to her friends/co-stars. She hasn't been on the MTV show in over a decade.

Interestingly, following the big announcement about her return, her ex-boyfriend, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, made a cameo in an episode.

The couple had a tumultuous relationship throughout the reality TV series origin show, "Jersey Shore."

Their rollercoaster relationship was documented throughout six seasons from 2009 to 2012

He stepped away from 'JSFV' to work on his mental health and other personal struggles.

After talking to the MTV team, we mutually agreed that I would step away from the show while I seek medical treatment for mental health issues that I've ignored for too long," he wrote in an Instagram Story in May 2021. "My No. 1 goal now is facing my struggles head-on. This process will be difficult, but my No. 1 priority is to get healthy and be the best man and father I can [be] for my daughter."

Despite Ronnie's quick cameo this season, it doesn't appear he will be returning to 'JSFV' permanently.

And Sam is ensuring he knows he will NOT be welcome in her life… like at all.

According to Page Six, Sam was recently spotted filming the show with her boyfriend, Justin May.

On Tuesday, March 4th, Sam and Justin have seen dining at the Italian restaurant Reggiano's of Celebration in Florida. Her fellow Guido and Guidette cast mates, and camera crews were along for the ride.

A source told PS that Sam "fit right back in with the group," and she "looked pleased" with her boyfriend.

Sam and Justin began dating in August 2021 following her engagement, which was called off, to Christian Biscardi.

Another inside source revealed one of Sam's plotlines on the show. It will involve her discussing her romance and relationship with Justin.

"Justin is a big part of Sam's life, so, of course, she wants to let viewers in," the insider revealed. "He's gotten along well with the cast."

While Sam gets reacquainted with the cameras, her ex is working on creating a new life for him and his daughter.

He is uprooting his life in Los Angeles, CA. with his daughter, Ariana, and moving south for a "change of pace" and "change of scenery."

Ron revealed he was opening a sneaker shop in South Florida and touched on the "bad situation" he was in over "the last couple of years."

"It's just something that's always been a passion of mine," he explained. "I almost lost everything that I built. I almost lost my daughter."

Ron referred to his domestic violence arrest in 2021 while on probation for a previous domestic violence charge.

He entered treatment for alcohol for eight or nine months.

"It helped me grow and made me stronger," he admitted on the March 23rd episode.
