Rumer Willis Gushes About How BF Derek Richard Thomas Has Been An 'Angel' During Pregnancy

Rumer Willis is singing her boyfriend's praises! The oldest daughter of Bruce Willis and his ex-wife Demi Moore is expecting her first child with the musician Derek Richard Thomas.

Since announcing her pregnancy in December 2022, the soon-to-be mom has updated fans on her baby's growth. Ahead of the child's arrival, the 34-year-old opened up about her expectations for motherhood. How does her partner fit into the picture? In a recent heart-to-heart discussion with PEOPLE, the Kentucky native flaunted her blossoming baby bump in a series of stunning pictures. The exclusive images were taken from the mother-to-be's partnership with NakedCashmere.

The 34-year-old joined the clothing brand to create a "capsule collection for mothers and newborns" ahead of Mother's Day. Rocking her pregnancy glow, the "Return to Sender" actress credited her love for making the journey easier with consistent support.

"Oh, my God. He's an angel. Cooks every meal for me, brings me water, is so sweet," the Hollywood sensation raved. "He's been so lovely, and he's just so excited to be a dad, and we're both just so delighted to meet whoever this little person is."

Still gushing about Thomas, the "Dancing With The Stars" season 20 winner noted that she found Mr. Right. "I could not have asked for a better partner, and he's going to be such a great dad," the 34-year-old declared.

There Is no doubt that the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actress's child would be born in an impressive family tree. With Hollywood veterans as grandparents to an independent musician father and an actress/model for a mother, the unborn child, the little one, already has a stake in the entertainment industry.

Hence, it won't be a surprise if the child grows up to follow in the family's path. When asked how she and Thomas would feel if their kid also wanted to be an entertainer, Rumer confessed that the couple had no plans of forcing their kid into the family's business.

The soon-to-be mom said: "Derek and I's approach is just like, whatever you want to do. Whatever you want to do, how can we support you? How can I expose you to as many things? Do you want to take an art class? Do you want to do pottery? Do you want to play music? Whatever you want."

According to the Young Hollywood Award honoree, she could hardly wait to meet her child. "I'm just so delighted. Sometimes I can feel this kid's energy," the Kentucky beauty exclaimed.

"And I just can't wait to hear them laugh, to figure out who they are, play with them and get to know them," the entertainer said. As for what she hoped her child's personality would be, the Broadway alum hoped they got the Willis-Moore energy.

"We're so goofy, all of us, and just weird. We're a family of weirdos, and I love that so much," she confessed. "I hope that is engendered in this child, just the silliness and goofiness."

The "Die Hard" star's daughter noted that her favorite thing was her family's unique laughter, and she hoped her child got the trait. In her words: "I have a crazy laugh, and so does my partner, so I'm probably the most curious to see what it sounds like."

Rumer's outpouring of praises for her baby daddy comes after she doted on him for the annual season of love. She marked Valentine's Day by honoring her boyfriend with a romantic post and a series of images on her Instagram.
