Before Shauna, 23, answered a question from a fan, she kindly corrected the question's wording. "Since your stuck in a 8 year old body, does it make you wonder what it's gonna be like when you get old in the future?" the fan asked.

"So before I get to the question, I just want to correct your wording," Shauna began. "I know that 'the woman stuck in the body of an 8-year-old' is the catchphrase attached to me, but I don't personally connect with it. I think it's very inaccurate."

She continued by explaining that she is not stuck in an 8-year-old body. "I am a 23-year-old woman whose body is 23 years old. It's matured. It's gone through puberty. Like I've grown in areas that 8-year-olds don't until they hit puberty, which is later in life, so therefore, I'm not in the body of an 8-year-old," she explained.

"I am just a shorter-statured woman, and my body is at the average height of an 8-year-old, but that doesn't mean my body is stuck in an 8-year-old body."

Shauna reiterated that her body is that of a 23-year-old but shorter than average and then got to the fan's question.

"I have thought about what it's going to be like when I get older. I'm going to age because the pituitary gland does not render aging or even control it. That's not part of the brain; that's the hypothalamus, which overall, yes, there's the pituitary gland controls the pituitary gland encompassed in it, but not those hormones."

She further explained that she had aged from when she was younger and will continue to age. "I think if you look at my face, you can see that I am in my 20s," she said. "And I think as I get older, I'm going to look older, and anything aging-wise is due to genetics."

As many people do, Shauna wonders if she will shrink when she's much older. She hopes she doesn't shrink later in life because she said she's happy standing at 3'10.
