Jeremy Renner Is In Physical Therapy

The "Avengers: Endgame" star has been in physical therapy to fully recover his body's motor skills after a terrible snowplow accident. Renner recently shared a video of him working out on a unique anti-gravity treadmill on Twitter.

In the video, he explained how the treadmill supports him by making him feel less of his body weight. It simulates how he would walk with handlebars or a cane to keep his body standing upright. Renner captioned the post, "I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will."

Renner is also using a Technogym bike for his physical therapy and has had two surgeries for his over 30 broken bones and blunt chest trauma. The accident happened when the actor was stuck in the snow and crushed under a 14-pound snow plow on January 1st, near his home in Nevada.

The "Wind River" actor was clearing his snow-blocked driveway with the snow plow to help his nephew retrieve his car when the faulty machine began sliding down the street. Renner realized it could slide directly into his nephew, so he tried re-entering the snow plow to divert its movement.

However, Renner got stuck and was pulled under the industrial-grade machine, which then ran over his body. An insider shared with Daily Mail that the actor's mom, Valerie, and Ava have been with him all through the recovery. They revealed that the grandmother and daughter have "been by his side as much as possible."
