Gerard Piqué's Mother Did Shakira Dirty; Allegedly Helped Hide Affair!

Gerard Piqué may not be the “cheating mastermind” everyone thinks he is.

Obviously, he wasn’t THAT great at hiding his affair, because he supposedly left a partially eaten jar of strawberry jam in the fridge, which he never ate.

Shakiracaught on to this VERY quickly!

However, the former fútbol player reportedly had help cheating from those closest to him.

We previously reported that the retired FC Barcelona player and his former teammate, Riqui Puig, tore up the town together as bachelors, even though Piqué was with Shakira.

The FC Barcelona’s former teammate, Riqui Puig, was the person who introduced Piqué to his now-girlfriend, Clara Chia Martí.

Puig’s girlfriend was Gemma Iglesias and she was a friend of Clara’s. Gemma introduced Puig to Clara during a night out.

Puig was also Piqué’s right-hand man for wild nights out, according to Marca.

"Piquehas a best friend. Clara was dating the brother of their friend of Pique. Since they met, he had a crush on the girl. They exchanged phone numbers, at first they met secretly,” paparazzi Jordi Martin told Marca. "Then he not only takes the girlfriend away from his best friend's brother, but also fires him from Kosmos, and hires the girl."

Now, it’s been reported that once he was introduced to his now-girlfriend, his MOTHER helped him carry on the affair.

Spanish news outlet Marca reports that Shakira recruited a team of professionals to snook on her ex prior to their June 2022 breakup. She reportedly hired a private investigator to follow him around town to confirm her suspicions possibly.

Marca reports the PI saw Piqué frequent the nightclub where Marti worked.

It’s now being alleged that Piqué’s mom, Montserrat Bernabéu knew of his affair and helped him cover it up according to El Popular.

Journalist Laura Fa said, “When the relationship between Piqué and Clara Chía began, they took refuge in a house that Piqué’s parents have in Cabrils (Spain). While Shakira cried on her mother-in-law’s shoulder, she was an accomplice in hiding this new relationship."

Shakira has trolled her ex-MIL by placing a terrifying witch decoration on her balcony and positioning it to face Montserrat’s home.

Recently, Piqué shaded the mother of his two children in an interview with El Pais.

The former soccer star admitted that since the breakup, “I am very happy. There have been changes in my life and I have been able to maintain my happiness.”

He continued to explain he’s currently doing what he wants and is trying to be true to himself.

Since their split, Shakira has remained single while Piqué quickly moved on with Marti.

She’s in her early 20s and he is in his mid-30s.

Shakira fans have ruthlessly come after him and Marti both online and in public. In fact, a restaurant owner kicked the new couple out of his establishment because his loyalty lies with the Colombian-native.

"The people I care about and the people I love are the ones who know me," Piquesaid. "I don't care about anyone else."

Clearly the guy has no regrets.

"The day I die, I will look back and hope that I have always done what I wanted to do. I want to be true to myself. I'm not going to spend money cleaning up my image," he said.

While he seems to be solely focusing on himself, he does share two minor children with the songstress.

The couple welcomed Milan in 2013 and Sasha in 2015.

"Everyone has a responsibility to try to do what is best for their children," Piqué explained.

He said it’s a parent’s job is to “protect” their children.
