Kelly Rizzo is acknowledging her friend Amanda Kloots for her good deeds!
Joined by the pains from the grief of losing a spouse, Rizzo and Kloots' friendship has been growing stronger by the day. The actress showed just how much they loved each other when she penned an extra special tribute for her friend when she turned 41 on Sunday, March 19.
Kelly Rizzo Appreciated Amanda Kloots For Being A Good Friend During Her Challenging Times
When Kloots ushered in a new year over the weekend, her beloved friend Rizzo was available to celebrate with her. To that end, the "FABLife" self-host uploaded a collage of images from the moments she and "The Talk" cohost shared over the years.
In one photo, the duo put on their Sunday bests for an event that was held at a Barnes & Noble store, with the celebrant stunning in a short orange number and her friend glowing in a coffee-brown dress. Another picture showed Kloots in a white dress that showcased her bosom while Rizzo donned a brown deconstructed outfit.
Other snaps featured the twosome in a darkly lit environment and having a family fun day with a few people, including a boy resembling the celebrant's son, Elvis Eduardo. Across the pictures, the "Unfiltered with Kelly Rizzo" star attached a "Happy Birthday" art and a tribute that began:
"Happy birthday to this beautiful soul I'm so grateful to call a friend. You're a bright shining light and you deserve to have the BEST day."
She finished the message with an appreciation to the 41-year-old for "being there for me when I needed it most!" The pair's bond became deeper after Rizzo lost her husband, Bob Saget, in January 2022, with them having a conversation about grief later in the same year. The Blast noted that the discussion saw Kloots confessing:
"You know how you peel off an onion, and it makes you cry? I feel like grief; why it never ends is because we continue going on through life, right? So if you think about it, that's your grief, that onion."
She further expressed her wish that people could tell her that "grief never ends" instead of reassuring her that she would be fine in a year. The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant added that grief would always bring tears due to the deceased's specialness to those left behind.
Revealing that she remained connected with her late husband, Nick Cordero, Kloots admitted that she felt him give her the push she needed to write the tell-all memoir about their love story in the book, "Live Your Life: My Story of Loving and Losing Nick Cordero."
The memoir was released in May 2022 and is available in hardcover to interested buyers.
The 'Bullets Over Broadway' Star Gets An Early Birthday Bash From Her CBS Co-Stars
The Blast reported over the weekend that Kloots kicked her birthday celebration off early, sharing the best parts of the event via Instagram. The former "Rockettes" member began with a reel that showcased the highlights of the Broadway-themed party that her "The Talk" co-hosts threw for her.
The parts featured in the video included cake — designed to look like the Empire State Building in New York, which was adorned with ballerinas in various poses, colorful decorations, and poses with her guests and baby boy, Elvis.
"Yesterday the @thetalkcbs spoiled me rotten with an early birthday celebration all Broadway themed! I can't thank everyone enough for making me feel so special," Kloots gushed to her 732k followers.
She concluded the caption with a shout-out to theater legends Christine Ebersole and Kathrine Foster for gracing her pre-birthday bash. Along with the thousands of likes the post received, fans also trooped into the comment section to drop their well-wishes for her.
One person praised her co-stars for putting such "an amazing show" together, and another advised her to "take in all the love." A third fan said it was "sweet" of her to have her son at the occasion, while a fourth lauded the mother-of-one for making "this world a better/brighter/happier place."
Kloots shared even more content through her Instagram story, including a full shot of herself and the members of the CBS talk show and their special guests for the day and the caption, "The whole crew! Such a fun day!"
